So there's nothing ugly posted on here by Brexiters or Remainers - that's my point - this thread has set Blues on Blues it got stopped completely once when it was less acrimonious - again on that clip it depends on what side you are ob remain or Brexit to take a viewpoint.....on the film footage ....

Joey. I was referring to the clip. In that it was Farage being rude and aggressive. The Lib Dem spoke calmly.

You didnt answer my question by the way. Do you feel you know more now about Brexit than you did 3.5 years ago? You know, what with all the chat and everything on the news etc?

But they're not. I shared with you the Treaty of Rome, which clearly outlines the aims and objectives of the EU from its very beginning. What other policy do you disagree with that has been conducted behind closed doors?

If there's one thing the EU don't do, is behind close doors working. They copy in EVERYONE and publish about a billion papers.

That's Farage's way but the LIB dem sentiments however they were put were just as offensive to me as a Brexiteer ignoring a democratic vote.... it was deja vu of this thread I am afraid....

Bruce, you don't see it, do you? That is exactly my point, I don't know what the EU is, or where it is going. And I guess you don't either. All decisions taken behind closed doors.

Utter hypocritical tosh, Brexiteers were applauding May not so long ago when she would not discuss her plan making. As for the EU, we elect MEPs, im sure they would inform and EU have sites where you can look at policy, true they dont spoon feed people information.

Indeed. The EU has enough boring policy papers to last a lifetime. That few people choose to read them is another matter, but then I dare say many people read stuff from the Commons Library or similar resources here either. Certainly the reports I was involved in at (as was) BIS didn't gain exactly a huge readership.

She didn't ignore a democratic vote at any point. She literally talks about the vote

Those papers will have been read by about five people, and yet there would have been five hour megadebates about the placement of a comma in a sub-section.

Perhaps the line of argument should be "the EU is too open to debate! We want less discussion!"

Oh no hang on

Closed doors? Oh those phantom unelected burocrats in your mind again.
Don't be daft. What do you think is the function of the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers
