Good articles......

’It is important to conclude by reflecting that this legal position should suit the PM as much as the opposition at the present time. If the PM were ‘forced out’ and the opposition could take whatever electoral heat for extending the negotiating period, followed shortly by an election, the PM could capitalize on the result and the inevitable headlines without having breached any of his red lines. Mr. Johnson could play the martyr and the phoenix.’
He’s a scumbag mate..... you know it, I know it and the rest of the world know it.

Christ... it's like watching an educated adult calmly trying to explain something to an idiot.

Oh wait, it's exactly what that is.
Were people talking about trade before the referendum?
No
lol
The vast majority of people, myself included, have no idea how trade deals, pacts etc work and all the infrastructure required and utilised as part of trading with other nations. And they really don’t care.
The idea that the British public voted to leave the EU cos of trade deals is a complete fallacy. The vast majority voted to leave cos of xenophobic tendencies and reasoning, it’s a simple fact.

Indeed. You should be looking forward to it happening......

Then if nothing else, voting to Leave has educated quite a lot of people....

Well I am all ears. If you can post an EU proposal for an EU Army, outwith long standing agreements on pooling military resources, it will be an interesting read.

Note, EU sources. Not Brexit Party, Farage propaganda.
Josep Borrell, who is nominated to be the European Union's next chief diplomat, has stated that 'The EU must have more troops and be prepared to use them across the globe' (my brackets - who are the EU going to invade then?) He called for numbers of EU troops that could be deployed to be raised to at least 55,000 to 60,000. 'We should pool our national sovereignties together to multiply the power of individual member states. I am convinced that if we don't act together Europe will become irrelevant.' Sounds like proposals for an EU army to me.

some of us already had....

I should clarify. I don't believe not wanting to be in the EU is an extreme or intolerable point of view. I just find it baffling that we had a referendum over an issue that wasn't even in the public's top 10 concerns at the time where both sides mounted the worst campaign I've ever seen.

I am happy that you looked at the information and reached a reasoned conclusion, even if I disagree with it. I just don't think most people who voted to leave did the same.

You must really hate NATO, then.

And I am convinced that the vast majority of Remain voters didn’t have a clue other than to keep the status quo....
