So let's say Everton get relegated. That will be a source of great distress to both of us. But a six month period where there are frequent shortages of medicines, isotopes for radiotherapy, toilet paper for god's sake, foodstuffs, parts for manufacturing industries and whatever else nobody thought of before hand will probably have more of an impact on your day to day life.
Likewise a future where British people who used to be able to follow their dreams and work and study anywhere within Europe without a visa and use their knowledge and experience to help their own country and their new home, not to mention the hit the economy will take as a result of no longer operating within the worlds largest free trade area will probably. to most sane people, resonate a little deeper than the prospect of having to go to Elland Road for a year or two.
Im not sure if you have any sense of awareness, but in case you dont, this line is inflammatory and will attract a response from the people its aimed at.
