Because, if we use a cooking anaology, while we may not not have made our lasagne, we know categorically that the tomatoes are tomatoes, the beef mince is beef mince, the garlic is garlic etc.

You have consistently looked at each, and despite someone saying 'Pete that's definitely Garlic' you've said 'we shall see'.

We won't, it's garlic, it's labelled garlic and everyone acknowledges it's garlic but you.

(I've just made lasagne)

not a big fan of garlic.....

if I were Boris I would write to them and say I have to ask you for an extension, then state that ‘if you agree to it, I will effectively veto everything going through the Eu’. Then I would say that in between I would win a GE, have a substantial majority’ and leave the EU without a deal anyway....

Yeah that’d work lol.

Pete you've said a hundred times that the UK wont put up a border or do any customs checks......!?!
In defence of @peteblue, he said they would never put up A hard border. The current plans are for a heavily policed, digitally monitored, 20 mile demilitarized zone across the length of Ireland between two sets of hard borders...

So the Tory haters have blamed the EU for it's supposed arrogance in refusing to open up the Withdrawal Agreement (despite fact it was the product of a 2 year negotiation between the UK and EU). And now...

On the 2nd of May the UK finalling release some supposed legal text for their alternative deal. And with it a huge "take it or leave it" ultimatum" ahead of their Brexit date at the end of the month.

You really couldnt make it up!

There had been what one might call 'inertia' towards the military following the end of WW1. It was not all down to Chamberlain...

Read up on it...

One of my favourite military statistics of the era is that orders of diesel oil were cut whilst orders of horse fodder increased throughout the 1920s and first half of the 1930s.
