Yes I want control back, and a correct fair government to implement it been a socialist to the centre all my life conned into voting Tory once - I worked hard to get my break in employment from leaving school never claim unemployment benefit, but my heart does go out to UK youngsters who strive to get on the job ladder also the housing ownership ladder, why because when I left school it was a level playing field for jobs I feel the EU has negated this from our youth of today by big business getting their wish zero hour contracts were never heard of in my time - The Trade Unions have lost the power IMO!

The EU is nothing to do with 'Zero hour contracts'

The UK opted out of the 'Working Time Directive'

Absolute nonsense this post.

The EU havnt caused Unions to lose power.

The EU didnt bring in zero hour contracts.

The EU didnt make house prices go stupid.

The EU didnt make policies that caused said prices to balloon.

The EU didnt not build anywhere near enough affordable housing over 40 years.

Some "control" you have there.

It's very simple. The cost of the EU is free movement. Free movement drives down wages and up the cost of housing etc for the working class. It's supply and demand and it makes no difference what political party is in power in Brussels or London.

I do mention Trade unions have lost there power- of course you never post nonsense do youlol

Mate, with all due respect you are talking rubbish.

The EU working time directive applies in the UK in so far as the UK does not apply the 48 hour rules.

Zero hour contracts - are NOTHING to do with the EU.

The EU and the UK have not regulated on 'minimum' time. There is no statute in the UK for it.

So if you want someone to have a go at. Its UK politicians.

Honestly. You're talking rubbish trying to put the EU and Zero Hour Contracts in the same sentence.

So the EU never caused freedom of movement then making housing scarce?
The Eu never provoke us to use there laws?
One small business was on the tv after Brexit after voting NO with a questionnaire he had to fill in for EU purposes, he reckons when he can rip that up he can afford to employ ten new people!

The eu migrants are happy to work zero hours just to stay here!

Actually, it is this keeping wages competitive - that in the face of the rise of China and India - is what has kept the UK and GERMANY competitive.

Without it. Economic growth would have been lower.

I'm not saying immigration was not excessively high.

However, wage downward pressure has actually ensured UK investment and jobs.

Without it the UK would not have been the place for investment is has been. Its why there has been capital flight since the referendum.

Are you a remainer by the way if you think the EU is faultless it's will implode soon Italy will be another Greece by the end of the year you will probably blame that on Brexit too!

Not really.

If he wants to sell to the EU he's still going to need to comply with EU law.

This is a fact. Services and products will - regardless of Brexit need to comply with EU law to be sold to EU countries.

Its a lie to claim that regulations will suddenly vanish. They're normally there to protect people.
