Major was the worst Tory PM since the war. I couldn't believe he got in in 1992, I voted Labour at that election. You would have thought that someone with such a poor track record would keep a low profile in his retirement. Just shows how arrogant these people are.
He was ok for a Tory. One Nation sort who upset Thatcher, he was not what she expected so OK by me.

Cancel the whole thing, What an absolute waste of time money and resources this has been, Stuff your vote and democracy the MP's have ruined it with playground antics, Our "PM" has lied bare face to the queen just let everyone get on with themselves instead of a brexit death cloud hanging over everyone's head.

This is exactly why we are in this position because I have offered a sensible approach but you have twisted it.
See that's where I disagree. I don't see it as a sensible approach. If i vote remain in question 1, there is no answer to question 2. I want to remain, end of story. If the majority vote to leave, I still vote to remain and want to remain.

Ok but if leave won would you want to leave with a deal or not? Or by not making your views heard you are happy for BJ to do whatever he wants?

At the moment the Tories are saying they have the mandate for no deal and parliament disagrees. Until the will of the people has been actually collated we are stuck butting heads.

Use these instead...

Q1. Do you believe in Democracy ?

Q2. If the majority vote to leave again will you abide by the result this time?

Again with those attitudes you delay the whole process, if people on the leave side hadn't said 'no chance of a no deal'/'easiest deal in history' then there would be no argument in parliament to abide by a result.

So get on the campaign trail and push for a no deal Brexit and let's end the farce one way or another.

Presumably you’ll be calling for an immediate GE or vote of no confidence ?.....
Well yes I think that should happen. Although the prospect of the great white hope of Brexit having to limp to Brussels with his tail between his legs to request an extension is appealing, were it not for the damage that it would do to our international standing.

I would note that I never thought we needed to 'take back control' in the first place.

But a man claiming that the UK has no sovereignty and is ruled by Brussels, having to go to the EU to request an extension at the behest of UK parliament after being told he unlawfully suspended Parliament because he didn't like that they were exercising their Parliamentary Sovereignty is worthy of the greatest satire.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive ! .....
