It’s a pity no Brexiters group have tested in Law the procedural creativity adopted by Speaker Bercow, or of his not following the advice of the clerk of the house regarding the existing rule book and precedent.....just a thought....

Still think this whole thing has destroyed politics.

Not happy with the government? Change the law.

Still not happy? Take it to court all the way.

How can you have a government anymore if it will just be undermined so easily?

Also noone actually knows if the people who voted leave wanted a deal or not.
was it not put to them that it would be with a deal, that a deal would be no problem.

I'm seeing a lot of people say similar to you, and you don't seem to grasp what today really means.
It a good day for the country. Regardless of stance on Brexit - this was an important day to set a precedent to keep this and future governments from proroguing to avoid the scrutiny of our elected parliament.

Boris will probably go up in the polls because of this.
Every principle, everything that people claimed they voted for, all the guff about Sovereignty and sensible reasoning has become secondary to the pursuit of Brexit.

No harm or consequence is too great in the pursuit of Brexit, it must be achieved in the most brutal and reckless way possible, because anything other than that is to admit that maybe people were wrong or misled.

"Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee"

Haha Number 10 throwing Geoffrey Cox under the bus to save Johnson's neck I see.

Shameless.
Dominic Cummings strikes again: if heads should role then it should be his that rolls, and I am not sure if I am talking purely metaphorically.

If anyone believes that it is Johnson running this show then you need to give your head a wobble.
