You need to engage someone to debate them, not make snide comments because they mistakenly wrote "question" instead of "option"
You can read them as snide comments if you want. They were just comments.

So, if you do have 3 options, who wins if the result is 30% Leave with a deal, 30% Leave with no deal, 40% Remain?

Do you think the 60% who voted leave (in my example) will be happy with that?
Doubt it. But it would depend on the terms of the referendum I expect. Would it be advisory? Would it be legally binding?

The presumption would be that No Deal shouldn't be an option if it were a referendum as it's the least desirable option. It would be better to give a series of deal options and go back to the country.

However, it assumes that the first referendum was sound and valid, which it clearly was not.

There is no way of keeping everybody happy.
No, that is correct but the whole point of having a public vote is that you enact the will of the majority of the people. Where there are 3 or more options given on the ballot paper, the will of the people is watered down

I absolutely agree that remain SHOULD come out as the winner but if the combination of 2 variations of leave gets more votes then remain wouldn't really be the winner.

You have to have a two part referendum.

Q1. Do you wish to leave the EU?

Q2. If the majority vote to leave do you agree to leave without a deal?

Q2. If the majority vote to leave do you agree to leave without a deal?
Q3. If you agree to leave without a deal but parliament vote against it, do you agree to a 3rd referendum?

Q4. If we had a 3rd referendum, would you vote any differently.

Q5. How much do you enjoy going round in circles?

This is exactly why we are in this position because I have offered a sensible approach but you have twisted it. We could just get it done and we would know. You asked about the 3 option split and that overcomes that problem. I would vote no, no and my total views have been added to the mix, if you are a brexiteer who is happy to leave with a no deal it is yes, yes.

If more than 50% vote to leave, then the next question is checked and there would be a mandate for a leave with or without a deal.

Or we can have your option 5 of round in circles because of inaction to get a mandate.
