Which is why I don't agree with the decision. But I don't think people are too stupid to make decisions in a vote. Just because nobody bothered to properly explain the implications, doesn't mean they shouldn't have.Do you genuinely believe that any of the parties actual try to educate and inform the general public of the real issues facing the country? It's all about tell them what they want to hear or what will get the votes. The referendum has been proved to be based on lies, lies and more lies. There was no real education.

I'd suggest that line of thought may be one of the reasons that people voted for Brexit in the first place. I'm not sure what your alternative is?
It's incongruous to herald a decision that protects Parliamentary Democracy while decrying the system because the electorate is stupid.
