Well yes, obviously.
Although there is plenty of discussion regarding the merit of judges called to the Supreme Court and whether it allows for diversity and differing legal application to those making the appointments.
But of course my point being that old, well educated and experienced legal people are fit to sit on the Supreme Court, while similarly old, well educated and experienced professionals such as myself get decried as racists who didn’t know what they were voting for.......
Well your sample poll of old, experienced, and well educated folk seems to be the Supreme Court judges, and er, You.
Anyrate, you won, well done, clap clap, vote Brexit Party.
I love that you think drawing comparison between some of UKs leading legal minds and that of your own life strengthens your position and not at all makes it ridiculous. But of course my point being that old, well educated and experienced legal people are fit to sit on the Supreme Court, while similarly old, well educated and experienced professionals such as myself get decried as racists who didn’t know what they were voting for.......

That's not a difficult concept. The referendum was roughly 50-50, of course there are Everton fans that voted Leave. It depends on your capabilities. I’m happy to draw such a comparison. You, however, cannot comprehend that Leave voters such as myself either exist or support EFC....there’s a big world out there......

With the greatest of respect, there are few educated/qualified enough to draw comparison with Supreme Court Judges, but enlighten me Pete, what do you think allows you to do so?
I'd argue that you have to be more qualified to become a Supreme Court Judge, at the top of your field, than say, the top of your field in horticulture. The Supreme Court consists of people at the top of their field. There are people at the top of the Financial field, there are people at the top of the Medical field, who are no different to the Supreme Court judges. Most professional groupings have people at the top of their field. I happen to be such a person. You may not like it, believe it or even get your head around it, but these professional groupings are at similar levels. Apart from pay of course, as Supreme Court judges are the paupers of our game......

It was illustrating a point. That’s Joey, not me.....
but you admitted that you didn't give the Irish border a thought when you voted. But of course my point being that old, well educated and experienced legal people are fit to sit on the Supreme Court, while similarly old, well educated and experienced professionals such as myself get decried as racists who didn’t know what they were voting for.......
Cut him some slack, he's one of the UKs leading thinkers. He's dealing with incredibly complex decisions on a daily basis, like how many dots to put at the end of his sentences.but you admitted that you didn't give the Irish border a thought when you voted.
It was illustrating a point.
