It's WORK mate, property of the Crown. The details almost certainly won't be released to the public. Everything I do on my personal phone/network is accessible to many government departments, thanks to part to these jokers that are going to refuse to obey the law. And still, Government and SPADS using burners ffs...
Human rights acts say's they/ you have the right to a personal life and privacy.
you can use your own device in works time as long as its personal, emergency's ect using your own email .
If your employer , say a bank worker for security reasons says they cannot be used they must have set out a working assement and policy and were possible make you reasonably aware of this when you sign your contract.
dont see the PM coming under such a policy as i said Greive has overreached himself here.
Ps it was The EU courts who brought this snooping on personal workers phones in to place over a case involving a Romanian worker.
British courts have not ruled on it as it could be challenged using the human rights act which we will now soon see what they think now this has happened.

How does this asking to see peoples personal emails ect play out surely its illegal to do that unless they have broken the law.
I'm disgusted seeing Tory MPs who have lied about, denigrated and consistently trashed the Human Right Act, while introducing legislation such as RIPA, clamouring to hide behind European Court Human Rights and Article 8 rights in order to preserve their right to private and family life.

Absolutely disgraceful stuff.

From a couple of weeks ago: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-49532243

'At the meeting with Mr Cummings, Ms Khan, who worked under Mr Hammond, handed over both her personal and work phones, and her phone logs were checked.

Evidence was found that she had been in touch with former colleagues who had worked for Mr Hammond, but not that she had been involved in leaking any sensitive government information.'

Goose / gander etc.
