It wasn't a general election though, it was a referendum on a subject. I wasn't voting for the people on either side. I was voting on the question which I was asked to vote on.

Voting to leave was voting to break up the largest trading and political arrangement that we have.

Once leave won it was always going to be the architects of that vote that controlled that rebuilding. Ergo a vote to leave was a vote for Johnson, Fararge and their ilk to essentially rebuild our economy and geo political ties in their image. It’s naive to think otherwise.

Okay, that's a fair - and valid point. But it doesn't make them bad people or wrong. Maybe just they need to be 'educated' in a less patronising way. But them being called idiots or 'old codgers' isn't gonna help that.

There is more to it than that, in the referendum of 1975 remain vote was 67%

In the recent referendum those over the age of 65 a total of 64% voted to leave, why such a big swing from a selection of people that originally voted to stay suddenly voted to leave ?

Unless you think everyone of them went senile there must be some very valid reasons.

Most of them no longer have any skin in the game and have swallowed the bilge cos it appeals to a world that never actually existed?

Because they all hate foreigners?

I'm sound as a pound lad no axe swinging here, just enjoying some healthy debate on this crapshow, and the remainer comment was not aimed at you, I have no idea which side you are on, it was just what seems to happen on here, if you are for brexit you get jumped on and basically called a racist and/or a crank or idiot.
Only the cranky and idiotic ones get labelled surely ?

Cameron was in charge when I voted.

He did this. His cowardice.

I hate the people who led Leave, and I hate the people who led remain. I wasn't voting for the people, I was voting on the decision the reckless government handed over to the people and have failed to deliver.

Ooer, never had toff down as a gammon

Just goes to show you never know someone, ey ;)

But seriously, I'm no gammon mate. I find them as ludicrous as people who take EU flags with them like it's some amazing charity.

I voted out but have more than enough reservations about leaving.

My main issue is I just don't know where we go from here.

We're stuck as far as I can tell. And nobody is offering any option.

If we have another vote, what happens if a) Leave win or b) Remain win? What's the point because where does it stop?

Labour voters in general voted out. Yet Labour as a party want to remain. So what does this do for a GE? Will they just all jump to the Brexit Party, like they did earlier in the year?

I'd say it stops when Article 50 is eventually revoked, but I have a feeling that won't be the end!

Put any Brexit deal back to the public for vote?
