If we need another referendum on anything it should be reform our own falling poltical system because it's totally unfit for purpose right now and filled with career politicians that aren't to pick up litter in a park much less run our country.

Stay in the EU or leave, I'm past caring at this point but but nothing good for 99% of this population will ever happen with the vermin we currently have sitting in the HOC from all parties.

Indeed, one change I would like to see is that any MP changing parties should immediately put themselves up for re-election in their constituency under their new flag.......

But it wouldn’t matter would it. If Leave again won, Remainers again would not accept it,,,,,,,would you ?

That's exactly what I am saying and this also applies to @Hawhaw point, yes referendums are normally advisory but they don't have to be, there would be no 2nd chances, no further discussions. The result would be actioned if possible that day. Doesn't matter what I think as it would be done.

I'm sick to my back teeth of Brexit and I would just like it to be over. I believe a second referendum under these type of rules is the only way to do this.

Rumours that the lords are planning delay tactics and they will ask the queen not to give her assent to it.

I thought something was up when bores and Rees moggy looked so smug when answering questions on if they will honour it legally

OK, let me put it another way.

We allocate 350.
We keep 100, and they tell us what to spend it on.
We send 250.

When (if) we finally exit, we keep the 100 they tell us to spend on x, y, & z, and don't send 250.

That is the simple mathematics of it.
Mate

Do yourself a favour and google it. There's a decent article on the Full Fact website that explains it pretty well.

Its incredible that this isn't already a thing. It's less likey that we'll ever see real reform in our politics though. Those snakes will close ranks and protect each other on that score, the shamless hypocrites.

No chance they would.

The leader of lib dem’s has said as much, most only say they would accept it to try sound semi reasonable, but when pushed they can’t say the first vote is legitimate.

The more sinister aspect is they don’t simply accept the result. People’s vote, conformitary referendum, is just stuff that comes from the sultan of spin Alastair Campbell. The real agenda is to cancel democracy.

THIS ISN'T OUR DEMOCRACY. Our democracy is a parliamentary one, and people like yourself and @peteblue would rather run rough shod over it.

But if we voted Leave again, what then......

Am I not making myself clear? I thought I was being crystal. If that happens then we are out with a no deal. I don't want the government to take us out with a no deal but I will accept a majority no deal result if the people are made aware of the pros and cons upfront.

Ok so choice B. Stay in limbo forever then...
Clark was on earlier said he was a remainer, but accepted that we should leave but the debate has been taken over by the leave no deal faction and we are staying in nothing else and sod the referendum faction, both lots are dressing it up as other things but thats there end game.
He said a middle ground to carry the house and the country should be found ie leaving a political union but staying in a trade union with same rules on trade ect.
Said if we went down that path and not got dragged along by either side the majority of parliment and the country would be happy to compromise, to me he made a lot of sense.
First time in a while i have thought yep can see were your coming from when looking at parliment , no side issue , no dressing it up just his opinion found it refreshing.

I never thought I’d see the day where I’d be defending Cameron (I truly hate the man) but interestingly he never said this.

He actually said “Can we be so sure peace and stability on our continent are assured beyond any shadow of doubt? Is that a risk worth taking? I would never be so rash to make that assumption."

He never said it explicitly. But the WW3 threat was a strong insinuation of what 'could' happen. It won't though, like most other Project Fear claims... they could happen, but they probably won't.

So, he hedged his bet. You either believe it will happen or you don't. He is a coward.
