Where are you getting this figure from?

I heard it on the radio a while ago my own self.

Hardly surprising.

If Corbyn was to pick up Johnson’s guantlet and agree to a mid October election, it seems Johnson would then be able to use some clause in the FTA that allows him to then move the date until after November 1st.

That is the “elephant trap” Mr. Tony Blair was alluding to yesterday.

We must not give that lying toerag in Downing Street the chance to do that.

No. It's to stop Boris using it as a wildcard to say that he doesn't agree with that date. It forces him to sit and negotiate.
it's a waste of time he just carries on as is till that date and any other date they care to name, he has to get a deal over the line otherwise it back to square one going passed that date, Eu have said it's the deal on the table which has been thrown out of parliament twice so he what is he negotiating on exactly?
around and around we go , then in a GE he just says i am going to overturn it if i win and back to square one again.
only way out is if he gives Labour a cast iron guarantee on the election date and we clear this log jam up once and for all.

To be perfectly honest I thought it would be a much higher percentage.

See leavers trying the good ol' character assassination of remainers with fake images.

Unfortunately, people take things like this without question these days. I've seen this shared on social media by several people as 'proof' that remainers are bad people. Its the fact so many people believe things without hesitation that really makes me lose faith in British society.

The image is fake. An innocent pro-EU image from 2017 had a burning Union Jack from a 2016 anti-UK protest in Argentina digitally placed into a hand.

Look at the caption of the facebook post, how ironic that "the better people" need to use fake images?

a) It's a really bad photoshop, anyone taken in by that should be ashamed.

b) It's a worrying trend, this 'better people' thing. It's training us to think certain people have lesser value... and that goes into some dark places, historically.

c) "People who want to remain in the EU should go live there" - We already do! Surely people who want to Leave can just do that?

I think that is just the fifty that have gone public.

I imagine it is probably darned near unanimous among Labour MPs, as it is among the SNP, Lib Dem and rebel Tories.

This “coalition” is held together by a belief that we must not crash out on Halloween and they will not let Johnson choose the battlefield on which to stage this final showdown in order to do just that.

There is also seemingly unanimous agreement among them that their meetings are positive and productive. Promising.

Just listening to a man in LBC saying that you can't have a referendum where there are more than 2 options. Not challenged, nobody said 'of course you can' it was just glazed over.

He's also just said he thinks the EU are less prepared for No Deal because we only have to prepare one country whereas the EU have to prepare 27...

No wonder we are in sinking sand and thrashing about.
