I haven't redacted anything.
Right. So where you drew it from had redacted the person's name. OK, my bad.

We should probably have a vote on whether we should vote for a re-vote or not tbh..I know.
Let's vote on it.........

Results from Merseyside......
District Leave Remain
St Helens 58% 42%
Halton 57.4% 42.6%
Warrington 54.3% 55.7%
Knowsley 51.6% 48.4%
Cheshire West and Chester 50.7% 49.3%
Wirral 48.3% 51.7%
Sefton 48.1% 51.9%
Liverpool 41.8% 58.2%
So do you hate the near 42% of your fellow Liverpudlians, or the 48% from Sefton or maybe the near 52% from Knowsley....time to grow up my son.......
It's really tough to take people seriously and respect their opinion when
I'm really confused, a lot of this thread has been taken up with people saying th majority has spoken etc with a 3.8% majority
Yet here you are trying to disprove the lads point using the figures when liverpool had a 16.4% majority to remain.
That's without bringing up the fact you decided to talK about merseyside when he mentions liverpool and the the fact you brought in the term hate from absolutely nowhere.
And that's without taking into account that Warrington, Cheshire, Chester or Halton are not in Merseyside.

Trying to keep up with this from the states.
Is it fair to say,
- Cameron called referendum to unite party
- Disenfranchised voters used the opportunity to send message to Westminster
- Everyone underestimated the protest vote
- Leave campaign had no plan in place in the event of victory
- Leaders on both sides resign as it becomes clear that there is no clear path ahead
- Sterling continues to drop amid uncertainty
- General election likely so new government can lead Britain in a new direction.
OK, so why was a referendum called?No.....apart from the Sterling bit.....
A Tory made the same comment after the financial crash with his eyes on the welfare budget. Never hear many of them talking about investing in the population. There are a lot of very dangerous people in that party.Absolute disgraceful comment from Lawson there.
The referendum did not allow idiotic people to start spouting stupid things. That is for sure.
Strange that lots of them have PR and representative government unlike ourselves. We are one of the least 'democratic' democracies in the western world. Perhaps that is why so many European countries are so much more just and civilised than ourselves. Used to lead in so many things and then smugly stopped being progressive and were overtaken by much of mainland Europe. But as long as you can eat a roast on a Sunday wearing your Union Jack shorts and delude yourself you are so superior then that's ok.The EU doesn't understand the meaning of the word Democracy, to them it's just an inconvenience that they can sometimes manipulate to use in their favour.
Because 6 to 1 MPs the EU parliament voted that it should take place as it was in the winners of the manifesto election 18 months ago, hence the PM resigned as he ignore a civil servant committee who told him we could benefit from being outside the EU!OK, so why was a referendum called?
