Well apologies. I certainly read your words as conceding a bleak economic future in the short and medium term. You said you didn't think "we would be any worse off in the long term".

These "bureaucratic and authoritarian rulings of the undemocratic EU" sound terrible. Can you give me an example please?

I mentioned the European Court of Justice because it is unelected and "foreign" but I like it. I referenced the Governor of the Bank of England as he too is unelected but "British" and I have to put up with him.
A pedant writes: the Governor of the Bank of England is actually a foreigner, he's Canadian.

Everyone in France shows an id card, not just foreigners Pete. If there are plans to request foreigners show an ID card here, and foreigners alone, then it's not a great leap to believe that there are plans to refuse some of those foreigners access to care.

Indeed. But would you rather that we all have to show ID cards.....

Of course a No Deal also helps to keeps the U.K. together. There is much talk of Scotland wanting to stay in the EU and have another independence referendum, but seriously just look at the numbers and what having any form of tariffs to the rest of the U.K. would do to them.....

Maybe it's not about the finances Pete. Maybe they're sick of being ruled by Westminster. I'm sure you'll be all in favour of their push for independence.

So they'll stay because you threaten them with tariffs?!

In a nutshell Pete this is what you dont understand about Brexit.

Millions and millions of people do not want to be ruled by a right wing dominated Tory English core.

Not at all. The U.K. will offer free trade agreements with anyone, it’s only the Eu that will drag it out.....

Boris's 'new' strategy is, shocker, simply to lie and claim parliament can't stop Brexit.

They er... they very much can BoJo.
And he is going into see Merkel and Macron, all Churchill like, telling them they must give him a new deal... I'm sure they will respond knowing such headlines are being read at home.
