So short to.medium term you concede we will be economically worse off? I missed that bit in the Leave propaganda before the referendum.....

As for independence and sovereignty, as the esteemed poster above has already asked, what actually are you talking about? What day to day issues are you taking about?

For what it's worth I quite like having a European Court of Justice and I'm used to my business life being effected by unelected bureaucrats like the Governor of the Bank Of England but you go on and explain please?
Where did I concede that we will be economically worse off?

By independence and sovereignty I mean that we are not subject to the bureaucratic and authoritarian rulings of the undemocratic EU.

Charlie, you keep asking questions which are totally irrelevant to the issue. You ask me to explain why you quite like having a ECJ and then advise me that your business life is effected by the Bank of England. Sorry, but I don't even understand the question.

Well apologies. I certainly read your words as conceding a bleak economic future in the short and medium term. You said you didn't think "we would be any worse off in the long term".

These "bureaucratic and authoritarian rulings of the undemocratic EU" sound terrible. Can you give me an example please?

I mentioned the European Court of Justice because it is unelected and "foreign" but I like it. I referenced the Governor of the Bank of England as he too is unelected but "British" and I have to put up with him.

Er, the Governor of the Bank of England is a Canadian citizen.

It’s suicide time in the Conservative party. The Remainers have a choice, support their government or support Corbyn. Now depending on their age and future employment opportunities they have a choice. Hammond, being an ex Chancellor would walk into various banks and whatever, however if he is made to look stupid and bitter over Brexit with a government that would do him and his new business partners down because of his treachery then he may well end up unemployed. Dominic Grieve will just retire to his French home anyway, but it’s the younger MP’s who are the more interesting. They know that they will be thrown out of the party if they vote for Corbyn, yet haven’t really yet made such a name for themselves to walk into a business role. So it’s going to be interesting.....Oliver Letwin is toast either way......

Somewhat of U-turn of confidence in the early hour after Johnson being enthroned. Its very easy playing the messiah when stage is empty now every day passes the big boys and girls return and Johnson looks inadequate.

PM Johnson has retreated to YouTube bunker already, doing modern day comical Ali impression. Baghdad Bob, Brexit Boris, no difference.

Its been a bit now, who actually authorised the original Refferendum?
Cameron on his own?
Via Cameron and collective cabinet responsibility.
Parliament passed the authorisation

Hammond, Corbyn, that woman who leads the LibDems and Sturgeon are not really big boys and girls are they though.....

Nothing new for British living in France. Carte vitale or other documentation, ID etc must be presented at the reception. I don't think the NHS has the admin setup to carry out similar checks and deal with the possible billing.
