I see the press are mooting 1st November as Johnson's preferred election day after the vote of no confidence - highly cynical, he rams through a no-deal he has no mandate for then rides to electoral success on the back of the now-defunct Brexit Party vote even as the chaos starts to hit; subsequently he, his cronies and their mates get a full 5 years trousering fortunes made on the back of the misery and turmoil foisted onto the rest of us.

And the worst part is that people on here are actually cheerleading this far-right libertarian coup, this grand subversion of democracy, this total disregard for the welfare, livelihood and even safety of their fellow citizens.

How did it come to this?

And the Tories will have had £150 million in campaign funding when it wasn't strictly speaking a campaign to brainwash even more chumps to think like some on here..

EU researchers account for half of the total UK scientific workforce of 211,000. Currently, they don't need visas to work in British labs.

Those from outside the UK currently need to go through a rigorous process supervised by the Home Office. The process is time consuming, taking up to 100 days and costly, with a bill of about £8,000.

After Brexit, new applicants from EU countries will have to go through the same procedure, prompting fears of a large scientific skills shortage.

Incidentally. 100 days and £8,000 to check people we should be bending over backwards to welcome into this country, all because of what? They're the wrong colour? Might speak their native language in Tesco or dare to use a GP?

I was at the Hult Prize today, surrounded by a few hundred young people from around the world striving to make a difference. We should be welcoming them with open arms. What a state we've become.

For the last 15 years, politicians from all sides have been frightened to talk positively about immigration for fear of upsetting parts of the electorate.
They’ve gone further and further against it, culminating in unrealistic migration targets, ‘multiculturalism has failed’ , ‘go home’ vans being driven round London and now this xxxx show.

Funnily enough I was speaking to a retired relative the other day. She revealed herself as a brexiter, her primary reason for leaving being that when she's shopping in the local town centre, it's full of Eastern Europeans drinking beer at lunchtime and she doesn't feel safe. She also doesn't like them 'clogging up the NHS', presumably by supplying most of the people that staff it.

Enough said.
