Fair enough. I can accept that. However, personal attacks, swearing, middle fingers etc etc don’t really cut it do they. A reasoned point, as you just made, carries a degree of weight in my opinion. However it is very rare to see.....

I take your point regarding the middle finger thing, but it strikes me that your intellectual equal, @Joey66, has been doing this for months now without objection from you. He knows which side his bread is buttered on. He was the guest speaker at a recent DUP conference and received rapturous applause.

No need for him to pretend to have the best interests of all the people at heart when he'll be out of that job in a few months times like the rest of his countless unpopular predecessors.

The only difference being that this time because he is a member of the hard Brexit cabinet, he has half of Unionism on his case as well and already he has a chilly relationship with An Tanaiste.

There is about, i would say 6 to 8 people (if not more) here, you have never shown respect too even when they were respectful of your comments simply because they disagreed with you or threw out facts you didn't like.. Just because someone disagrees with you it does not mean they are being disrespectful.

Continuously insulting peoples intelligence does not make you intelligent nor does it "win" arguments. Also your quip about cursing being a sign of low intelligence is utterly bs. A sign of false superiority as in "look at him he is cursing that means he is not like us and not educated". Go look up the studies both Oxford and Cambridge did on the subject.

Seems like he's a bit 'reasonable' or backtracks or 'discusses' in the morning or early afternoon but after 9.00 pm he turns into a nasty piece of work with bigoted and sometimes violent views. I wonder what it is with late evening/nights?

Yep that's true and so many defend him and say its because of the drink. But the thing is it shouldn't be accepted sober or drunk. Being drunk is not an excuse for bad behavior. In fact when one is past a certain point with the sauce they tend to lower their inhibitions and tell the truth more.

To be frank chaps, i'm not sure it's consistent with the rules to discuss individuals like this, but i will submit the following, for what it's worth:

When he has committed to specifics he's had his pants pulled down on here more times than i care to remember. When he's not plagiarising lead attack lines from the right wing press he's either deflecting or stirring and hasn't stopped windmilling since Johnson became pm.

I have no problem, personally, with someone who wishes to justify what Johnson's government is doing nor why they want brexit, but continually reading his immature, essentially tribal posts on both subjects is becoming increasingly tiresome and pointless. Therefore, i'm going to work out how to utilise the ignore function and apply it.
