Even if we have 100 referenda, nothing will change unless people change their mind. Are they not allowed to do that in your democratic wonderland?
Ah, the old - 'have you stopped beating your wife yet' response...(for those unfamiliar with this, there is no correct answer.)

But the point is not the people deciding - They already have - Leave.
All that is needed is that the Parliament that asked them to decide - Implement that decision.
The Remainers in that Parliament that asked are the ones delaying the Democratically arrived at result.

The ERG voted against May's deal that would have seen us leave the EU? Are they remainers now?

tbh, Im not too familiar with tory sub groups ( and care even less) but to vote against something gives the impression you have some sympathy the other view.
Asked by Parliament the people voted Leave. Parliament keeps on defeating most if not all leave related motions.

The problem (well one of many) is the cross party majority of remainers in the house.

They (Parliamemt) asked the people, the people said leave.
This is Democracy
Trying to prolong the process until everybody gets fed up and says 'kit or trying by various tricky device to have a revote because you didn't like the result of the 1st one
Is not Democracy

I'm done with your sophistry for now...you do it well though, me I'm off to the Alehouse.

So did the remainers though. Are you denying that?

Not at all. I just find it peculiar that people defend a democratic system of elected representation that is based upon those elected officials doing what they think is the right thing on our behalf. Then when they do that, it's called undemocratic. I'm not sure people really understand our own democracy any more than they understand the EU.

prepare to be Bercowed again
Depends on whether they do a motion of no confidence first and it passes.

Bercow. What do you reckon he'll do? Go for an extension to prevent no deal. Or go all out to revoke article 50 or perhaps a second referendum. Timescales are not going to be great with the summer break and party conferences so I reckon he'll only get one shot. Extension is guaranteed to be passed. Not so the other 2 so we could still end up with no deal brexit come 31 October.

Not at all. I'm just saying that both the ERG and remain supporting MPs contributed to Brexit not being carried out. Your response to Degsy implied that it was just down to the ERG.

Good post mate. You put forward a decent argument. I have a number of issues with a second referendum. Firstly is the question that is asked. The only question that is truly democratic and engages the whole of the electorate is a straightforward Leave or Remain. But most remain supporters would rightly argue that there are different versions of Brexit. But any other question would either split or completely alienate large sections of the leave vote, ensuring an easy victory for Remain. Anybody who believes that is fair has a strange understanding of democracy.
Your first para sounds a bit ludicrous to be honest mate. How is purely Leave vs Remain the only democratic option? What about the Leave voters who would prefer remain to no deal, who voted Leave on the back of listening to tits like Dan Hannan saying no one is talking about leaving the single market? If they got dragged out of the EU with no deal how can that be democratic. Why is it only remain vioters who say there are different versions of brexit. There simply are different versions, that's a fact regardless of what you voted.
