im absolutely all for another referendum with two questions

no deal Brexit

or

a deal Brexit which suits Britain, and wont cost us trillions.

and then id like our government to actually implement it in quick time.
you've already had one mess of a referendum because there was no clear path for one of the options, this would be another. How do you guarantee a Brexit that suits Britain and wont cost trillions? you cant.

I was just trying to give some sort of alternative to a no deal Brexit …

we voted to leave , and as you suggest here, the only way we can leave properly is no deal.

should have been implemented 3 years ago, and we would all have gotten on with it and made things work.

Yes, but the vast majority did not vote to leave on a no deal. In fact leave voters were promised an easy, excellent deal.
So now you have the situation where you can only leave on a no deal or a crap deal. The easy excellent deal doesn't exist.
So the narrative is completely different and the people, the vast majority of whom dont want a hard brexit, should be asked again.

I love how people such as yourself know things like this.

totally made up to suit your agenda.

not really.
If 48% voted to remain, it's reasonable to assume a decent percentage of the 52% that voted leave would not want to do so via hard brexit.
Recent polling shows that a majority want to remain in the EU and not all leave voters want a hard brexit.
I could dig up more links but you would
a) say polls dont count, look at the original ref polls.
b) ignore facts just like you brushed past my link about Brexit lies.

yes I only take notice of the ONLY vote that actually counts.

yea, you're right, what was i thinking. Not like I'm gonna change Franks opinion.

I've given up on thinking about it all tbh. I think this thread and the whole situation has brought out the worst in people (myself included). It's something we don't really have any control over so it's probably best to just crack on with other stuff for a while.

im just wondering how long it will take for the Brexit party to be labelled as far right, racist lunatics …

wont be long no doubt

Pretty damning stuff. In fairness, though, the £350 million 'lie' was supposedly going to be activated upon actual exit from the EU, although I haven't heard any commitment so to do yet......
It was supposed to be once we leave. The lie is the fact that we would never be getting back control over £350m a week. Leave aside the fact that plenty of economists think we will lose more than £350m a week post-Brexit. The £350m a week figure is a lie in itself.
