I felt a bit sorry for her. Every time she was asked a question she struggled with, which in fairness was pretty much all of them, the camera switched to Jess Phillips who did nothing to hide her contempt. She was obviously enjoying Ms Andersons struggles.

Having said that, I think it's the first time, and most probably the last too, that I've ever seen Andrew Neil openly flirting. He was smitten.

And Michael Portillo, the only one seemingly unaffected by Pammie's charms, was just sitting back beaming as the other two interacted with her. It was just one of those TV gold moments. A complete reversal of probably the most combative Question Time I can recall in recent years. And I'm talking the audience here rather than the panel.

Doesn't augur well for the coming euro elections. I think they are going to be brutal.
cant watch Jess Phillips at all ,looks aghast at everything and near breaking point when anybody challenges her , I hit the off button as soon as she appears , just one of those people, the like's of Boris, Davina ,that wind me up as soon as they appear, could be talking about the weather and it would have the same effect .

I know what you mean. It's the facial expressions they put out there. I'm the same with the likes of Emily Thornberry and Michael Gove. Funny how some people can wind you up without even opening their mouth sometimes.

As many do, this is all I can think of when he comes on now. He could be saying the most insightful, intelligent thing (unlikely with him) and it wouldn't register.

Probably one of the 17.4 million who voted out your labeling there - I don't watch it any more QT as I think its set up.......
I watched This Week ... that show will be a sad loss...... Andrew Neil is a great host.......
I have enjoyed the low key events on Brexit it seems to have gone quiet......
Hi Joe. I've missed your Ill informed sweeping generalisations and non sequiturs.

Good to see they're back in fine fettle.

Lying to the electorate is betraying democracy,
illegally funding a political campaign is betraying democracy,
Radicalizing a population for self interest is betraying democracy.

Holding a second referendum 3 years after the first to clarify a position and break a deadlock is not.

very very contradictory this ….

that's as un democratic as it gets.. and will NEVER happen

In fairness, I'd agree with you (frank) if the government that called the referendum demanded a re run straight after the result but that's not the case.
so it runs like
You had a referendum and voted to leave.
Then you had a general election where you elected a new government to take you out of Europe
That government has failed to take you out of Europe causing economic uncertainty and social division.
I think it's reasonable to ask the public if they are happy with their decision. If they are, they will vote for brexit again.
To be honest, you're damned if you do, damned if you don't and if I were British, I'd be demanding investigations in to where the money and influence came from and was it designed to intentionally sew division and upset the country.

im absolutely all for another referendum with two questions

no deal Brexit

or

a deal Brexit which suits Britain, and wont cost us trillions.

and then id like our government to actually implement it in quick time.
