For crying out loud, some folk read what they want and seem to ignore the rest.

No one on here is calling anyone else a nazi. What some are doing is referencing the situation in early 1930's Germany that allowed the seeds of it to germinate, as being a bit similar to parts of the UK now.
David Lammy Labour MP did in an outburst - not the EU being Nazis - members of the ERG , and Boris.....
So now voters of Brexit have another label to bear, but hey ho - take it with a pinch of salt - oh I should not have mentioned salt doh........ :)

Couldnt care less what David Lammy said. Like I have said, to the point of exhaustion, is that in this thread, folk have made valid references to the political/populist situation in early 1930's Germany, that left unchallenged, germinated the seeds that nasty people sowed, as having some resonance here. Now.

Who are you referring to when you say 'their' because while some may be calling for it across Europe it is not a universal stance.

In any event, creating a 'super state' with an overarching Governing body and Army is not even close to being 'as about as Nazi as it gets'.

The ambition of the 3rd Reich was to achieve a United States of Europe under fascism. As I mentioned earlier a lot conflate 'nazism' and 'fascism' whereas the 2 are not the same. Unfortunately the sheep on the right who get excited by the idea of scapegoating weaker people, lately immigrants of all persuasion, mimic the bellends that followed the methods of the NSDP.
Mussolini had his definition, as did Hitler, Franco and others, all wanted a supranational state by conquest, amalgamation or assimilation. All worked hand in hand with corporations to create these, it keot the fascists in power and the corporations in profit, they don't care who is in power as long as they are profit 'enablers'.
The idea of a European army has been mooted for decades and the more recent cases put forward are primarily economic above defense.
It isn't 'as nazi as it gets' per se, until those forces are turned on the people, examples of which can be seen at many, many protests, most notably in France, though rarely shown to the general public.

Edit. By 'they' I mean extremely big players in the EU Commission. It is documented.

You won't hear jackboots on Breck road.
That's the key bit. Everything else in that post is largely irrelevant.

This thread should only be about the EU in or Out not World at War that's on the history channel to watch imo....
It's just started another label to throw around which is most obnoxious you can get - whether you like it or not a stupid MP outburst has created this in the media , and on here......

Stupid MPs started this, full stop. Think we can all agree on that.
