Bruce was trying to argue that any country that treats other nationals differently to their own is racist behaviour. I merely pointed out that every country on the planet does for a variety of reasons, hence....

And as I also pointed out earlier, the UK definition of racism under the Equality Act covers nationality, but, it also gives an opt out for Government and Border control.

It's effectively state authorised racism.

Gibraltar nationals did as well as anybody from Eire that was a resident in the UK so some did,
along with any residents from Malta and Cyprus as members of the commonwealth who all could if they resided in the UK
