All 17.4m voted to leave the EU. Nowhere on the ballot paper did it talk about a deal.

The vote was for a no deal default

exactly … why is the no deal the default setting ??? as that is what was initially voted for at the referendum

these deals were dreamt up by the government because they could not believe the outcome of the referendum

now its all coming home to roost.

thankfully the majority of parliament want democracy to win the day... and not to deliver on a 'deal' that does not deliver brexit

right, because there was none, but they were promised there would be one.
So they voted leave based on the knowledge that there would be a deal.
Which is very different to
"as a leave voter , all the other leavers I know voted for a no deal originally thinking that is what the referendum was... I am quite sure thats what the 17.4 m voted for too."
no deal is the DEFAULT for a reason.

it was the result of the reerndum - LEAVE the EU … not deal with the EU

April fools day is the next significant date for this saga. If Parilament can come up with a majority decision on an option then the EU will allow an extension so that it can be brought into law.

Favourite options are now

1. Some form of customs union deal (UK WIDE).
2. Longer extension and hold 2nd referendum

Outsiders are

1. Leave on April 12 with No deal
2. GE
3. Revoke article 50

I watched a news clip and this factory owner had about 12 employees the alterations to buildings - facilities - packing etc etc came in every month from the EU -in his opinion totally unnecessary.... also enforceable by EU law.....
the paperwork alone was a headache time consuming and the actions costly.......
Don't tell your Grandmother how to suck eggs - I was fully qualified - read my post over sodium chlorate......
If you have managed you know where common sense and the EU lies in some stupid unnecessary rules- I kept ever standard yet they just issued more unnecessary ridiculous laws OK.....
As a Manager dealing in dangerous chemicals I was qualified quite rightly, and my health and safety record was 2nd to none OK......
your not a chemist or an environmental scientist though Joe, you may have been meticulous with disposal and storage but without legislation others wouldnt

That's the problem though, isn't it? Nobody knew what any of this would entail. The implications of both options should've been researched and explained thoroughly before knuckle heads like you and I were asked to vote.

Also, can't see no deal default on the ballot paper
