Democracy is a process not a vote, which seems to be completely lost on some people. The whole point is it is a system which allows for adaptation to changing circumstance. It is not one person's veiw or opinion.

People banding about 'legal', 'democracy', 'sovereignty', 'rule of law', while having no clue what they actually mean.

Come on now, how's that necessary. @Bruce Wayne is a good moderator.

He didn't specifically address you with that term. He doesn't 'randomly dish out insults'. I disagree with him from time to time; for one he is a Team Sky fan, likes Brailsford and I'm not on the remain side. From time to time he gets a bit frustrated. It's natural, happens to everyone. Even more so for him: he has an EU-spouse, he works across the EU... . I think it's fair to say that all that is happening is not in his best interest. Again, everybody on here knows that not all leave voters are racists (add other prejudices in here). There's a series now on Belgian television about Belgian people in the U.K and Brexit atm. Yesterday it was about a Flemish man and his Dutch wife who live in Whitechapel (London). They say they are returning after twenty years, because since the whole ordeal it hasn't exactly been a pleasant experience; people shouting in the metro to go back to your country and similar. According to them the UK became a more racist and less open place since the referendum - you're seen more as an outsider. And another woman, that has noticed similar sentiments but still has to stay for four years because her husband has a fixed job until then...

It's not his normal modus operandi; he doesn't go around systematically insulting people. Some people do and then they end up becoming secretary of state for foreign affairs - and then they are lauded as potential top negotiators for Brexit. So it's not always a bad career move in fairness.

He's a moderator, he's allowed an opinion. In addition I don't think he does a lot of active moderating, he lets a lot of things slide in here (from every side).

You are either Pro-Bruxit or Anti-Bruxit.

No grey or anything non binary with additional context or consideration will be considered.

Ha you wouldn't even run a a forum under that premise. lollol

P.S. Team B.W.

Yes , but hes a Mod who does post common sense even if he is a remainer lol

Its tilting at windmills, but I am not in favour of leaving, cos I havnt a clue what that actually means or will end up looking like. But if we never joined in the first place, and had enjoyed 40 odd years of mutually agreeable trading, I wouldnt rush to join.

edit. But we did join, and I had no say in that.

So did I - I am all for a trade deal of favorable sorts with the EU - just not the polictical arrangement.......Interesting point is even if the indicative vote comes up with Common Market 2.00 etc or a Norway Plus deal we still have to accept the leave agreement......that MPs still are voting down... unless Labours idea of A CUSTOMS UNION supposed to be different than the present Custom Union lets us trade worldwide also?

That kinda sums up why I voted to stay mate. Nearly 3 years after the vote, we still do not have the foggiest idea what we will end up with.

All we do know is what we have, for now. And while i get your annoyance at the political side of the EU, it doesnt really effect folk day to day, does it? But tearing up the best trade deal in history just might.

Oh, and we have a veto anyrate. So anything EU related we have in our laws and stuff was agreed by our HOC. Still baffled why so many thought otherwise.

1. I don't think you have been in this thread from the start. If you haven't, then I don't expect you to trawl through over 3,000 pages to catch up on everything. If you WERE to go through all of the pages, you would then see what I mean.

2. He has been insulting to me and others over a long period of time with insults and put-downs without any redress whatsoever. It IS his normal modus operandi towards some who do not agree with his views, since he is immune from any sanction whatsoever.

3. I respectfully suggest you comment on my comment once you know, and have read, all of the facts pertaining to my comment.

4. No one is disputing that he is allowed an opinion. What is in dispute is that he flagrantly abuses his position to insult people in this thread. Hence why I say that he is a disgrace.
