Being a bit older than some, I genuinely do not know what is ‘acceptable’ or not these days. I assumed it would be impolite to say non-white and I’ve heard the term people of colour, but I find it all a bit of a minefield tbh. As do many of my generation......

Maybe you could book some classes ;)lol

Mate I really wasn’t , if it read like that it genuinely wasn’t intenthinal . I was merely pointing out my opinion on a topic.
Here's what you said.
but if the subject of race influenced one side more heavily and you’re suggesting it’s the remain side then I’m afraid I’d have to challenge that as strongly as i could
All my post said was that I spoke to one racist who voted remain, and that it would be wrong to assume that this was an isolated case. I even added in the disclaimers that I didn't know whether immigration was the main reason he voted remain, and that I didn't think the country was full of people like him. How you made the leap from that post to me believing more racists voted remain than leave I have no idea.

Just for the record so we can clear this up, my view, and I have no facts or figures to back this up other than my own intellect, is that I would imagine that more actual racists would have voted to leave the EU than would have voted to remain.;)

I can see what you've read into it , my use of “if you’re “ sort of meant an open comment as much as being directed at you if that makes any sense although I accept totally your point and from me I suppose i should have put ‘ if you were to suggest’ , which to be honest I thought I’d wrote . Basically it felt like a natural evolvement of the conversation because I do feel it was a relevant point to make given my experiences both personal and from reading about , listening to and watching the debate and not something we seem to disagree vehemently on.

Not as such. But we met after my acrobatic troupe parents were cruelly murdered by a criminal gang who they owed money to.

@Bruce Wayne took me under his 'wing' so to speak, as a sort of legal Ward and has taught me his ways ever since. I started out as something of a side kick on here, but, I've unburdened myself of that mantle, and I feel like I've since become a hero in my own unique way.
Been reading Enid Blyton again hey ho....

You are a disgrace, and basically hide behind the fact you are a Mod. Anyone else would have received a ban of some kind by now for all the insults you have lobbed at people.

Come on now, how's that necessary. @Bruce Wayne is a good moderator.

He didn't specifically address you with that term. He doesn't 'randomly dish out insults'. I disagree with him from time to time; for one he is a Team Sky fan, likes Brailsford and I'm not on the remain side. From time to time he gets a bit frustrated. It's natural, happens to everyone. Even more so for him: he has an EU-spouse, he works across the EU... . I think it's fair to say that all that is happening is not in his best interest. Again, everybody on here knows that not all leave voters are racists (add other prejudices in here). There's a series now on Belgian television about Belgian people in the U.K and Brexit atm. Yesterday it was about a Flemish man and his Dutch wife who live in Whitechapel (London). They say they are returning after twenty years, because since the whole ordeal it hasn't exactly been a pleasant experience; people shouting in the metro to go back to your country and similar. According to them the UK became a more racist and less open place since the referendum - you're seen more as an outsider. And another woman, that has noticed similar sentiments but still has to stay for four years because her husband has a fixed job until then...

It's not his normal modus operandi; he doesn't go around systematically insulting people. Some people do and then they end up becoming secretary of state for foreign affairs - and then they are lauded as potential top negotiators for Brexit. So it's not always a bad career move in fairness.

He's a moderator, he's allowed an opinion. In addition I don't think he does a lot of active moderating, he lets a lot of things slide in here (from every side).

I haven’t learnt all the correct pc terminology, sorry. I still struggle with the correct use of Ladies, Women and Girls.....
Same here. I picked my daughter and some of her friends up from Leamington the other week after they'd had a night out there - all in their late 20's. As they got into the car I said "Hi, girls, did you have a good time?" Apparently one of her mates was not happy with my use of the word "girls". I've not had any explanation as to why it would cause offence, but we do live in a weird old world now.
