To all the no deal is fine nutters. Maybe this will give @Old Blue 2 some pointers as to where he should aim his camera should the worst ever happen.

When are you going to stop insulting people with your posts?

You are a disgrace, and basically hide behind the fact you are a Mod. Anyone else would have received a ban of some kind by now for all the insults you have lobbed at people.

When are you going to stop pretending that all remain voters have said the sky is going to fall in on 29th March?

Because I, and many people a lot smarter than I, believe a no deal scenario to be absolutely insane. It's one thing for people who generally have no clue to advocate it, but, like Tusk, I hold those who are in a position to know better yet still peddle this fantasy with the utmost contempt.

And for the record (as I've just read your report), unless I've missed it, your contributions to this thread over the past few months have been a mixture of songs and your desire to take a photo of the sky after Brexit. If that was a subtle clue as to your support for a no deal scenario then it went over my head. Couple that with the full stop that clearly distinguished the first and second sentence, and you would have to be especially sensitive to believe I was calling you a no deal nutter. Maybe you are of course, but as said, you've posted nothing of real substance in this thread for months, so I'm not sure how anyone could be expected to know that.

Doesn't answer the question.

You're too much of an outhouse to answer the question directly...

STOP INSULTING OTHER MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM IN THIS THREAD...

I added to my post having read your (latest) complaint against me. Ask yourself this though. You spent your life working in the job centre, or that broad area. If the government were implementing a policy that would do tremendous harm to those seeking work or unemployed for whatever reason, and the only response was trite song lyrics suggesting things aren't so bad, we survived a war you know, perhaps you would look afresh at your own behaviour rather than on those calling you out for such callousness. You clearly don't give a damn about those concerned about the fallout from Brexit, which is entirely your prerogative, but don't get uppity at those who are.

So our reputation is already plummeting and you want to damage it even more by sending disreputable scoundrels like Farage to act on our behalf overseas? Christ, we really do get the politicians we deserve.
Bruce.

The Farage comment was tongue in cheek and was directed mainly at our Belgian friend @Armel who I've been exchanging views with. He would understand where I'm coming from.

As regards voting at the euro elections, two things have changed my view on this since the last elections when I didn't exercise my vote. Firstly, the general reaction in this country to the likes of me who voted to leave. We have been stereotyped, called stupid, racists, uneducated, selfish, ridiculed at the slightest opportunity. This is by no means an exhaustive list. Now there are 2 ways you can react to that kind of treatment. You can give in to it and basically bend over, or you can show resolve and be more determined.

The second matter is that, following the referendum, the remain contingent could have acted in one of two ways. They could have gotten behind the decision to leave, presented a united front and helped the country leave with as good a deal as possible. Or they could fight tooth and nail to reverse the decision. Sadly that appears to have been what the vast majority have done. Helped tremendously by a remain dominant parliament that have also done their best to obstruct proceedings. What I can't understand is why so many voted to invoke article 50 when they clearly had absolutely no intention of carrying it through.

We are now in a position whereby we will undoubtedly get a parliament led long term extension to article 50, and people who want to remain will be congratulating themselves as they see this as another success in the battle to stay in the EU. But in reality, the only thing we know for certain is that it will bring us another 2 years of further uncertainty, both for business's and for the UK economy in general.

I've said in here before, when I voted on Brexit it was a very difficult decision for me. Not anymore. My resolve to leave has multiplied, and it has nothing to do with the EU, who I probably have a lot more respect for than I did before the referendum. It is you Bruce, and people like you in this country who have strengthened my resolve and my determination to leave the EU. The EU general election will be the next step in this. After that it will be either a UK general election or a second referendum.

Mods defending this Mod as usual: "Unfortunately, your recent report was rejected ".

The only thing surprising is that you are surprised I reported you for insulting me.

"...You spent your life working in the job centre, or that broad area..." Can't get that right.

"...trite song lyrics suggesting things aren't so bad..." Can't get that right. Go back and listen to the songs I have posted in jest. You do know what the word 'jest' means, don't you?

"...we survived a war you know..." I've never said that. In fact, I have studiously avoided posting that kind of thing. Others have done so, however.

"...You clearly don't give a damn about those concerned about the fallout from Brexit..." You cannot possibly state this, because you do not know the first thing about my views on others. I respect the fact that others have different views regarding the EU, and have different views regarding leaving the EU, but I have no respect for those who have continually insulted those who voted Leave in this thread with cheap jibes and insults, such as 'racists', bigots', 'Little Englanders' and other insults, including your latest 'nutters'.

You are a disgrace, mate, and should be ashamed of yourself...

....delighted a Tory MP pointed out yesterday that non-EU immigration is at an all time high. Having ‘control of borders’ is a great soundbite, but we already have control of our borders for non-EU citizens and it makes no difference.
You need to look behind the stats Eggs. The vast majority of non EU immigration relate to student visas for people coming here to study. This is a very profitable industry for our Universities, and those Visas don't allow them to work. Also the vast majority of asylum seekers are none EU. The number being given working visas has also increased however, and that is largely because the net immigration from the EU has dropped off since the referendum.

It is possible that, if we ever get around to leaving the EU, that it could lead to more work permits being issued to non EU citizens. I'm not sure that the actual racists that did vote to leave fully realised that.;)

Bruce you sent me a nice e mail of an apology over another issue - I did respond by hinting as a Mod on this thread you must show more impartiality on this thread, calling people idiots - nutters - @Old Blue 2 is quite correct that any other poster would be warned by a Moderator - Just because you reckon you are a lot smarter than anyone who wants no deal or anything against your viewpoint it's just no excuse - the referendum over two years ago your view of Brexit lost by 1.5 million votes - Are they all nutters or idiots - no Bruce it's democrocy unfortunately 75% of parliment are remainers like yourself ......
I am not advocating that the Brexit negotiations have been perfect far from it - but that's what happens when remainers negotiated the deal ... and that's where we are atm.....
This thread was closed down a good while ago for far less its turning Blues against Blues......
