The Division wouldn't be on 'Should we lay waste to the planet?'.
Wow really?!?! I had no idea!!!

This changes everything, it'll never pass.

Not like this Government has recently celebrated 200m worth of investment from gas and oil in the UK, not this Government that asked MEPs to vote against EU legislation to introduce tighter control of car emissions, not like this Government to vote against private housing being made fit for human habitation, not like this Government to scrap solar subsidiary, scrap subsidy for wind farms, sold off their green investment bank (albeit they introduced it), ditched the Zero Carbon homes scheme, has allowed fracking then allowed fracking on sites of special scientific interest.
I never said the Tories were the 'kin Green Party FFS.

Listen, this is all conjecture. If the country ever get's around to leaving the EU, we'll see if the Govt does pass a bill that gives in to this Ratcliffe guy. If it does, I'll gladly hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong. If only I could expect the same in return.

Anyway, enjoy your members club thread. You all deserve each other.

Amazing how you've gone from patronising to taking your ball home in one post.

To be honest you lost all credibility with me when you started pandering to Joey and Pete while claiming to want civilized debate. Yet every time you get it and you get shown up you cry off and start talking about being ganged up on.

Anyway we now have a very clear class divide in the nation as todays Waitrose sponsored rebellion showed.

If Waitrose sponsored it they would still be in Park Lane, standing around gossiping to each other, then forgetting what they were there for in the first place.

In my experience....

Difficult to read the mood music isnt it? That petition, and the march, were both well supported, which shows nothing more than a lot of folk are pretty cheesed off, and would like the whole thing canned.

But that said, there were popular marches and that against the Iraq war, and the hunting ban. Changed nothing. Will a rump from both major parties, plus the SNP, think there is a real possibility of playing to this new gallery and forcing a revoke of A50? (If they actually can that is).

Weird days.

no deal doesn't make any sense for anyone... but then neither did the First World War

Probably like Brexit it sounded ok beforehand. 'Yes it'll be the easiest thing we've done, go over show Johnny Foreigner whose boss and be back home in time for cucumber sandwiches and croquet.

...four years later they are wading up to their nuts in body parts of their friends.
