The guy is the one flagging the substance of his point, doesn't really matter who he is, it's the content.

Why do you find the need to label people as 'remainer' when you have no idea? It's rather decisive and antagonistic.
I've just checked my post again and I don't even use the word remainer. I said remain supporter and later referred to the BBC article as being in favour of remain.

This is the EU in or out thread. Am I not allowed to use the word remain now?

It's devisive in that (like you stated) it's defined by how one voted a few years ago and precludes whether one accepts the vote, and also, what they find to be an acceptable application of the result. It's not just you, it's the media/commentators.

Nothing awkward about it the border stays open - as it is now with different currency, different Vat rates , and different taxes ..... the EU blew this up thats why a free trade deal should have been high up in negotiations......
Only the EU sized upon this to spoil any Trade deal - other non EU countries have borders .......Switzerland have many no EU country.....
we don't want a hard border nor does the whole of Ireland only the EU banged on about this..... as they knew it could stop Brexit......
Absolute tosh borne out of paranoia.

Nobody wants a hard border, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be one. When Brexit takes place there would need to be one to protect the integrity of the Single Market, which is why a backstop is included in the agreement.

And the only people who are stopping this sensible compromise going ahead are the fanatical DUP/ERG alliance in Westminster.

But hey blame the EU. Why not, you blame them for everything else including the weather.

Exactly, and the avoidance of eu tightening of off-shore tax haven's, and laundering.

The UK form quite a few of the special member state territories of the EU, so brexit might actually force a discussion on tax havens, which would be a nice consequence of Brexit.

State of this ffs:

Well you said decisive originally. Divisive actually makes more sense in the context of your argument. But even if I agreed with you that the term "leavers" is divisive and antagonistic, I still didn't use it in my post. I said remain supporter, so that would cover everything you mention above.

Don't hold your breath mate. Iirc the eu rules for traceability and the declaration of these havens come into force this year, coincidentally.

No fact is the EU were not in the Good Friday agreements , and no one other than them made it a massive issue .......Southern Ireland trades 60% with the UK .... I agree it was a problem, but the current situation of an open border could have been worked out the backstop does not come up with a solution - hence the UK being tied to the EU for ever.....
many solutions have been put forward by working groups rejected by the EU.....
