...chuffed folk are beginning to see May for what she is. Not very good.
I'm sure she'll try to get some picked on female sympathy from the public again before the weekend's over, the bbc won't be transparent until they know she's gone and who the replacement will be imo.

....she’s often resurrected herself, but I think she’s spent now. Jeremy Hunt will probably come in, I just hope Labour can exploit the situation.

The trade deal I understand comes 2nd - but really did no one in our negotiations not point out a better clarification of a trade deal than 8 pages .....
Also a good idea would have been our divorce bill half for the leave treaty the 1/2 for when the trade bill is completed.....
Simple negotiations that a trade union could and does most days in everyday life........
This has imo been deliberately ballsed up by remainer negotiators ......
3 years....
Also even if we went back with say a different deal the exit deal would not change now the EU have said that....
Let say it's a Norway plus deal, the EU may say NO - eg we get a better deal than Norway they would veto it as we would be getting a more favourable deal.......
Our MPs need to realise we need to leave and honour the sovereignty so the UK can strike worldwide deals independently!
And the Irish Border?

Is there any other member country whose governing party is economically even further right than Brussels?
No idea really, but i'm sure they're being pushed behind the scenes, like Italy, Hungary, and a few small low-tax countries.
Our government's really been the main corporate facilitator in the EU, in both law making and the application of EU directives.

Was just a bunch of old fat arses running round and kicking the crap out anyone who showed the slightest glimpse of skill.
That was the combination mate. The league proper was quite a decent standard. It saw off the Merseyside Police who buggered off to the West Cheshire as they were getting chunk kicked out of their shins every week.;)

INEOS threatens to close UK plant unless it can dodge EU pollution rules

The chemicals giant said thousands of jobs could be lost unless it is exempt from EU clean air and water regulations, documents reveal.

INEOS, the petrochemicals giant owned by the UK’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has said it could close its Middlesbrough manufacturing plant unless it is allowed to ‘defer compliance’ with EU rules designed to prevent air and water pollution, according to documents obtained by Unearthed.
An analysis of data from the Environment Agency (EA) also reveals the plant clocked up 176 permit violations between 2014 and 2017, 90 of which related to air and water emissions. An EA spokesperson said: “air emissions are well over legal limits and this poses a risk to the environment”.
We can't be held to ransom by people like this (if it is true if course). I'm not going overboard about this until such time as the news is out there in the public domain. But if it does come out, they should be told in no uncertain terms to do one. The loss of jobs is always unwelcome but the problem with the environment is a far bigger issue and must be given priority over the jobs if need be.

One would hope that the EA are on top of the illegal emissions already seen and are working with the company to sort this out.

I'm not sure why you felt this should be posted in the EU in or out thread though.

Of course, while the media has been busy shrieking over his secret membership in Soviet/Czech/Venezuelan intelligence, and his serial acts of violence against the feelings of The Troops/The Queen/Chuckles Umunna, Corbyn has been diligently co-ordinating between Brussels, the member heads-of-state, and remain Tories to put in place the nucleus of what is now by far the most likely deal to actually pass.

If Britain does manage to stay in the Customs Union and Single Market, and thus, to rescue what remains of its economy, it will be thanks far more to Corbyn than anybody else.
