This isn't an accidental coup, it's been planned, just that the spineless gimps think that brexit can be used as an excuse/reason to oust Corbyn. Careerist and self promoting. It would benefit the country enormously if they were deselected.

Which is why it will never be allowed to happen. Make no mistake about it, the Labour right are being cheered on by the media outlets and also UKIP/Tories behind closed doors. They really don't want to see them being rolled over by ordinary people, it would set an alarming precedent.

The more I read about Article 50 and the timeframes attached to it, the more I think that the EU will actually be on its arse before anything is concluded. I can sense a huge ground swell from the right within mainland Europe and can see there being seismic political shifts across the continent in the coming months and years. I can see things getting very turbulent, not just for us but for all EU member states, and have no idea how things are going to pan out

There is every chance of that. There's also every chance we will be struggling. What happens first or more quickly could be pivotal. Make no mistake though, the Government, the Conservative Party, big business and the wider state are actively looking renege on this referendum vote.

Just watched Farage. He spoke as if he was representative and representing this country, he isn't and he doesn't. He is a knob.

Interesting that, judging by applause ve booing, I would say 25-30% agreed with his sentiments within the parliament.

I would also say, like Westminster, and noted by Schulz, the behaviour bordered on childlike. Democracy in action, jeebus...

It's clear that even Merkel, who has probably been kindest towards the UK since the referendum, is not willing to give up freedom of movement. We can't move to the Australian-style points system and keep access to the single market.

Richard Branson is also saying that CHinese investors are pulling out of investment in the UK.
From the Guardian Business Live Blog:
Branson told my colleague Rob Davies that:

“I met with a group of Chinese businessmen yesterday morning who have invested heavily in England and who are now going to stop investing and withdraw investments they’ve already made.”

“I’m afraid that based on misinformation, people voted for Brexit, which is basically voting for a way of shooting themselves in the foot. The last 2 days has been absolute pandemonium worldwide in the markets, the pound crashing, the stock markets crashing, and we are heading rapidly towards a recession again. It’s just too sad, so so sad.

No doubt Benn and his fellow travellers' actions were planned. The question is why people on the soft-left of the party are also resigning (Lisa Nandy and Owen Smith). Smith has also claimed that there was a plot, but he wasn't a part of it.

And new philosophy calls all in doubt,
The element of fire is quite put out,
The sun is lost, and th’ earth, and no man’s wit
Can well direct him where to look for it.
And freely men confess that this world’s spent,
When in the planets and the firmament
They seek so many new; they see that this
Is crumbled out again to his atomies.
‘Tis all in pieces, all coherence gone,
All just supply, and all relation;

Jean Claude Juncker - is certainly a major reason for what has happened. No doubt in my mind.

No mate.

The single cause for this whole debacle is the Conservative's offer of a referendum as a hedge against Eurosceptics within their own party and particularly UKIP.

It was a commitment made that they never thought they needed to fulfill as they never thought they'd win a majority in May 2015. It's entirely caused by their inability to stand up to Eurosceptics in their own party and supporter base.

It was never necessary but giving a platform to right wing malcontents has proved incredibly dangerous and ultimately decisive and will cause our country irreparable damage economically and in status and reputation.
