And that's your "minor" concession? The EU has already said that all negotiations are finished now. Here's one for you, why don't the ERG loons persuade the bigots in the DUP to accept that the EU have had their say, and if, as you say, this is such a minor concession why don't the DUP accept this and let us all crack on, leaving the backstop arrangement as per the EU dictat?

No matter what is agreed or not, you will still want to put the boot in to the British government. If May agreed that NI and the ROI could have the most fantastic agreement you would still not be happy. I have no problem with you wanting everything and being part of the EU, but let’s not pretend that the ROI within the EU is a sovereign country.....

Time limit the backstop and this is all sorted. The reason they won't agree is because, despite what they say, the EU want to keep us in it long term, because it weakens us a competitor.
Under May's deal they would still govern us, indefinitely, it is a disgusting deal she is trying to get through Parliament.

Now they've all voted to take no deal off the table, this last 3 years could not have been handled any worse than it has, and still she clings to power.

I’m not sure she will for much longer. Her own party (and cabinet) are clearly getting sick of her.

I have no interest in putting the boot in on the British government, that's a stupid thing to say. You have said that the backstop arrangement is a minor matter, which is pathetic even by your standards. I'm not interested in ROI sovereignty in the context of this thread, and I'll not be conned by your deflection tactics. Do you really think that the Irish backstop arrangement is a minor matter Pete? Do you?

Brexiteers in social media are like those lost forgotten Japanese soldiers that were found decades after their empire had surrendered, still believing they were winning the war. Tonight's vote has seemingly for now got the ERG and DUP to sign up to May's deal, most likely we'll see at meaningful vote 3 next week. So it's now May's deal, the dreams of a hard Brexit are over, at best for Brexit it's a soft squidgy hotel California leave. Or a hotel California extension to Article 50. Brexit summary, vasline for the vassle state.

Remain vs No deal
Or
Remain vs May’s deal

So if you vote to Remain does that mean:-

I vote to remain within the EU providing that
A) we do not have the same level of youthunemployment as Spain
B) we do not have a lower GDP growth than most of the EU
C) we do not get dragged into a war with Russia over the expansionist ideology of Brussels
D) They didn’t know what they were voting for.....

Yes.....

By that logic, neither England, Wales, Scotland or NI are sovereign countries. The U.K. is a political union, just a smaller one then the EU.

There is a irony there if you choose to see it.

Our political union, is choosing to leave your political union.
