I never said it was legally binding
I said it would have passed by more if she didn’t whip against it, (her own Motion).

She has wasted weeks on brinkmanship where she should have crossed the house and sought consensus.

I agree she should have sought consensus, but tbh Corbyn would have voted against anything she put forward, even if he had written it. The consensus she needed was within her own party......

Pete, can you let us know what this minor concession is that would unlock the situation we are in now? This one that the EU can make to Theresa May? I'm intrigued, I'll be honest........

It would be the wording that allows Cox to say we can unilaterally walk away from the backstop, or allows Cox to say that there is a material reduction in the legal risk. I’m sure they will come up with something.....

Time limit the backstop and this is all sorted. The reason they won't agree is because, despite what they say, the EU want to keep us in it long term, because it weakens us a competitor.

It's over. In fact the negotiating was over months ago. All the clarity and reassurances have been given. Even May has accepted this. It's solely up to the UK now to decide what happens next. It's time to stop fighting with the EU and work out the future.

Stop fighting with the EU?

The Tories can’t even stop fighting among themselves.
