Neither was the referendum, it was advisory. Had it been legally binding , it would've been void.

Also nothing you have said in your post actually contributes to further the conversation. Yes Article 50 is law, it is statue tonight, as it has been since European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Act was signed on 16th March 2017, but it can be revoked.
Article 50 voted by over 500 MPs to leave the EU is binding legally - please keep up.....
E.g. An act of Parliment.....
Tonight and tomorrow is not binding as it has no time, and the EU today quoted no extension.......
Mays deal will be put back after a load of hot air over the next two weeks , and go through......or it's no deal...
I agree not great options, but that's where we are....

Yes I know, I even quoted the Act; but the referendum wasn't, which was my point. Keep up!

Absolutely not. I don't see why you should overturn it. I said earlier I think the way forward is to go back to the public and ask them to decide on which route to take.

Parliament clearly can't reach a consensus, so it's GE or referendum 2.

I didnt mean you......Y'know.

I know. I just feel it's important to clarify my position, as some seem to be of the opinion that I want a repeat of the original vote.

Only if Silva ups his game!!! :)
I'll take that as a no...

"There will continue to be free trade and access to the single market”

“Once we have settled our accounts, we will take back control of roughly £350 million per week. It would be a fine thing, as many of us have pointed out, if a lot of that money went on the NHS.”

“After we vote Leave, we would immediately be able to start negotiating new trade deals with emerging economies and the world’s biggest economies (the US, China and Japan, as well as Canada, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand and so on), which could enter into force immediately after the UK leaves the EU.”

“Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the single market,”

“The EU’s supporters say, ‘We must have access to the single market’. Britain will have access to the single market after we vote Leave.”
