The alternative would be to have some thing like a North Korea democracy!
behave. What other issues would you want a referendum on? Should every issue of governance be opened to the public to decide upon? The alternative would be to have some thing like a North Korea democracy!
behave. What other issues would you want a referendum on? Should every issue of governance be opened to the public to decide upon?We have a democracy to elect people to decide on the governance of the country, not to toss it back to the population to decide on each and every thing. Referendums are a nonsense, and on that I quite agree with Lammy.
For the record, I have no problem at all for people to have as much control over their own affairs as possible, as they have the most information about their own affairs. As evidenced by this whole sham however, the vast majority have naff all idea about EU matters and so the very notion of them deciding on such things is an utter nonsense. It shouldn't have been offered in the first place, and if they can wriggle out of it then they should do.
Remain camp are the little EUnders, not wanting to trade with the world india, china america aus , nz etc on a big scale, nothing to do with Farage who is an idiot but will be off in few years
And it's frightening just how many people seam to be calling for this. Democracy takes generations to be achieved but can take second's to be destroyed. The alternative would be to have some thing like a North Korea democracy!

Certainly not 30% in two days unless something very serious has happened.Because shares never rise as well as fall do they
We trade with world, however it is insulting to have someone say our country is not good enough to trade on a bigger scale and we need a union to even attempt it. Belittling.Listen, it's been pointed out to you several times that this is completely and utterly wrong. They may have allowed lies to pervade in the referendum campaign but we won't have it on here. Behave.
We had a vote okay not universally liked. But at the moment we are still in the EU and likely to be so for the next 2.5 years. So why all the panic in the stock markets and pound rates, nothing has changed from Wednesday to Friday.

Come on Brucie lad, i was being flippant. Referendums in essence are not the right tool to determine policy IMO but when you have Governments/Political parties like in the last 20 years so out of touch and lost for ideas what can one expect. The sheer fact is our governments over the last 20 years have messed up a lot.
Well luckily we have longer than the next two days to see if it recoversCertainly not 30% in two days unless something very serious has happened.
This is a big reason for the remain camp losing the referendum.
Their argument was basically that our country is rubbish and it'd be best left to those in Brussels to dictate to our awful little country.
