The clammer for a deal is quite frankly embarrassing..

Time for a proper brexiteer to comandere the ship and cut us free from Europe and sail us all home..

They all went off in a huff at the first sign of any hassle mate. So yeah, get a proper one in. Like your mate Jacob Rees Mogg. Cos he is the only one anyone has heard of since David Davies and Boris pooed their pants.

Well they are saying absolutely no extension will happen.

It's no deal.

In addition, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that the E27 have become, at best, fed up with the UK. From their point of view there has to be a balance between the financial reward our membership brings, against the frequent disruption to their activities that comes with it. The UK have never submitted fully to being members of the EU in the way that all other nations have, and it's fundamentally clear that we never will in the future. I think it's also fair to say that EU see no point in the UK continuing to be a member of the union when so many of it's electorate are totally against it. In this they have a much better grasp of the situation than we in the UK do in my opinion.
Good point this, and gives lie to the theory expounded on here and elsewhere for a long time now that the big bad EU are the villains in all of this, and wish to 'trap' the UK indefinitely and thwart all attempts at it leaving. It was clear from the Juncker/May press conference last night that the EU have gone out of their way to facilitate an orderly Brexit as much as possible and wish to get on with discussing the future relationship post-Brexit.

The other 27 countries are getting seriously miffed with this, and it would really be better for all if the UK left otherwise this will rumble on for years and years. It would also respect the vote of the referendum, which people who have pointed out the drawbacks of leaving are unfairly accused of not doing.

The problem is, you can't leave if you can't agree on the terms.

The inevitable delay to brexit is now confirmed. A second referendum looks inevitable.

And we will end up in another 52:48 situation either way.

It's been clear along that Teresa has no intention of leaving the EU. It's going to get very messy.

Will there be a third referendum if the second referendum negotiation on leaving EU goes t up like this?
