What part of the country is Grisby?
I see the @Bruce Wayne thread and his merry remainers is still going strong...... :bye:
You mean the Remainers old boys club thread Joeylol

I've tried eliciting some meaningful discussion in here over the last few weeks, but every single one of them is so dogmatic mate I gave up in the end. Not one of them is prepared to concede an inch on anything.

I think I'll leave the thread in the capable hands of @peteblue. He seems in control of the situation and it's also quite funny seeing so many rise to the bait.

I have felt mentally , and physically better staying off with fellow blues taring into each other - with the same old remoaners on it..... very few brexiteers on it now ......
I may be back if we ever leave that is a big IF.......

You've had debate. I certainly have treated you with respect and tried to understand your perspective, we've even agreed on a number of issues. Stop pandering to a man that's grandstanding, who offers absolutely nothing to an informed and rationale debate, other than a series of playground retorts and dots.

Haha! French customs on strike/work to rule cos of the lack of Brexit preparation. Chaos across Northern France.

Didnt see that coming......

We drove back from Paris yesterday, was really strange what the French done. they put cones all down the middle of the A26 into Calais splitting it into 2 lanes ushering all the lorries into one lane, and it was mentioned that there was a 18 mile tailback from the tunnel, when there actually wasn't an 18 mile tailback, what happened was the French had blocked the lane and stopped the lorries going any further 18 miles from the tunnel, so one lane for 18 miles was deserted. The cars went into the other lane and we had no hold up whatsoever right up to the tunnel, the only problem we had was going through passport control etc because the French only opened 3 booths.

Yes you have treated me with respect, as have others, but in much the same way that Fox in Peace is humoured in the football threads. Maybe I should change my username to Brexiteer in Peace. But apart from that all you have ever done is try to educate me to your way of thinking.

The difference between us is I accept that people have different views, and that they are based on their own circumstances and preferences. I understand the concept that what is right for one person won't necessarily be right for another. That not everything is black or white. I concede that not everything that the Leave side have done is right or true. I agree that leaving with no deal is a bad thing. I accept that a small percentage of the leave vote will be true racists. I have never said that people who voted to remain are wrong, that they didn't know what they were doing, or were uneducated. But whenever I have tried to highlight any irregularities on the remain side, or in any way criticise the EU for some of their own handling of the Brexit process, I have been met with nothing but denial and dismissal.

Not once has anybody acknowledged I may be right, even on one single point no matter how small. Not once has anybody said fair do's, or OK I'll give you hat one. Not once. So yeah, I 100% stand by my comment that every single poster I've exchanged views with is dogmatic and unwilling to concede an inch in even the smallest of points.

If the boot was on the other foot wouldn't you get fed up in the end?

TBH Joey I haven't got a clue what will happen now. It looks like May's deal won't be voted in next week, and I'm pretty sure a no deal will be rejected too. A second referendum won't sort anything out whichever way the vote goes, simply because no side has a clear enough majority in Parliament and the country (electorate) will still be totally divided and probably even more toxic than it is now. The other thing is that the EU themselves probably don't want us any more as they realise that half of the country now hate them and that is no basis for continued membership of the union.

I can envisage a general election taking place which will be fought around Brexit. The new Remain and Brexit parties will split the usual Tory/Labour domination and, once either leave or remain has been finalised, we'll be left with coalition government which is neither use nor ornament and a nation still bitterly divided..

You heard it here first.;)

This is a debate.

And that's not true at all (oh and I fully expect the spell master in chief @Joey66 to correct your spelling of hat to that).
