So after all these talks and failure to come up with anything workable, Am I imagining this but does the Brady amendment just say we’ll replace the backstop with ‘alternative arrangements ‘ which appears undefined and propose this as a solution?

Then on the Malthouse amendment haven’t the Eu said they’re not interested in opening the withdrawal agreement? Obviously we’ve negotiated that , they haven’t imposed it . The options are Perhaps the EU are saying something different In Private or is it more likely the tories are kidding themselves?

Personal insolvencies up 16%, increasing for the third year in a row, and at the highest rate since the crash.

Yet it stands to reason that when Universal Credit kicks in and then Brexit spikes the cost of their food by at least 30% overnight, the sturdy commonfolk will carry on with a stiff upper lip, like in the propaganda films about the Blitz?

To be a No Deal Brexiter is, at this point, an implicit acknowledgement that the stimulus-response mechanisms which once tethered you to empirical Britain have finally succumbed, and that you're now trading freely only with the Britain of your own demented mind.

I mean, have you not been paying attention to the response even when a mid-table football side falls out of form??? These are the people who you think won't be bothered when everything on the half-empty shelves costs 2x what it did the week before?

If they vote today and take No Deal off the table, they are all living in cloud cuckooland if they think the EU will offer a better deal to them, the last foot we have to stand on and they are blowing the whole leg off.

Loads of Labour MP's saying we will be able to get a better deal, absolutely no chance.

One thing that Brexit has shown us all, is what a bunch of useless self serving numpties we have running this country, on both sides of the house.

Not a negotiator between them. It’s too easy for the EU, they just sit back and watch us remove any negotiation edge we have.....

Pete we have no negotiation edge. There is no negotiator in the world who could have delivered what Leave promised.

We haven’t even started negotiating a trade deal yet. All this delay and nonsense is caused by the EU believing that our Remainers would get the vote changed....

... but we have a grand total of one trade deals ready to go on March 29th. That would suggest that the problem is this Government.

No argument from me on that score. They have been inept, useless, devoid of strategy, and a shambles, and I include our useless civil servants who have supposedly been negotiating......
