My limited knowledge of the Lisbon Treaty is that it was chiefly a tidying up exercise.

But looking at the list on the post, several of them have been the case for years, (trade deals etc), the adoption of the EU is nonsense, as were most in the bottom 10.

Like I said, imo, its someones interpretation, dressed up as fact. And the fact that some of the stuff is supposed to happen next year, dont you think that may have been raised in the Leave campaign?

There's a Lisbon Treaty?!?! Where have we been sending our visiting fans all these years?!?!

I did stay off where did I say forever ahem ......
Any way I am mental according to someone who I now will not answer his threads......

It's actually quite offensive that you regard anyone with mental health issues as 'mental' Joe. You wouldn't regard someone with a broken leg in such a way. Fixing this perception that mental health is something to be ashamed about is a good first step to addressing it and becoming healthier as a society, and indeed understanding ourselves better. You appear to have taken this perception and assumed I think you belong in Bedlam strapped to your bed, when in reality all I was saying is that you have a very strange approach to your thinking on this subject that is neither logical nor helpful.

You may or may not be aware, but I've been open in the mental health thread about my own recourse to therapy, so it would be a strange sort of insult if I used a process I myself have been through to degrade you. You may well find it patronising and that you don't need my sympathy, but you have my sympathy regardless.

That's were your totally incorrect Bruce I stopped reading it after the first line as I was diagnosed with PTSD a month ago ...
You insult most people anyway with your sheer power and ignorance .....
Just put me on ignore if you think I am a mental case as you crudely put it a few days ago!

I've no desire to denigrate you Joe, and sincerely hope that you're getting the help you need for the PTSD. The mind is nothing if not a funny thing.

*sorry, I only just noticed your update with that last line. As I said in my previous message, I don't buy into this 'mental case' image as it suggests straight jackets and electro shock treatment. That's a terrible perception of mental health that prevents many people from even admitting to issues, much less getting help for them. We wouldn't put physical health in the same bracket, so it's incredibly unhelpful to put mental health into it.

Then branding a poster mental like you did as a mod is incorrect, and if I had upset someone on any post I apologise for a crass comment like that. - you as a mod or a person seem to be above it imo!
That's an idiot, and now this outburst you have hit me with....but it's ok your an individual who believes you are superior to others look I can take banter , but not ridicule ok!

I might be wrong, but I don't think I referred to you as mental, I said you appear to have pathological reasons for the doggedness/stubbornness of your thinking on the EU. I wouldn't ever refer to someone as mental.
