Reread your post Bruce......

It was reported Joe, so I've read it numerous times over the past few days and know what I said :-) We are veering off topic and I suspect others are far from interested in our contretemps, but I'm happy to discuss things via PM if you wish, although I'm currently visiting in-laws in Czech so can't promise a swift response.

You read my mind mate. I was going to suggest that course of action. @Joey66 If you want to carry on this discussion with @Bruce Wayne , could the two of you do it in private? Ta.

It was not posted in private , but I have always respected you as a Mod, and if Bruce is away then I will have to accept he can post anything .... He has the easy powers to put me on ignore....

No, it wasnt posted in private, but the on going discussion should now be, in my opinion.

And mods cant put folk on ignore. For obvious reasons when you think about it.

Then branding a poster mental like you did as a mod is incorrect, and if I had upset someone on any post I apologise for a crass comment like that. - you as a mod or a person seem to be above it imo!
That's an idiot, and now this outburst you have hit me with....but it's ok your an individual who believes you are superior to others look I can take banter , but not ridicule ok!
I might be wrong, but I don't think I referred to you as mental, I said you appear to have pathological reasons for the doggedness/stubbornness of your thinking on the EU. I wouldn't ever refer to someone as mental.

Lads you are both really good people and it kills me to see you at odds over this. Bruce, enjoy your break with your family and Joey just enjoy life. Life’s too short....

Cor Blimey!

Even our top supermarkets are on the project fear bandwagon:

Here's a solution for you believers: carry on doing your normal shop.

The rest of us can stock up and when your cupboards are bare, all you have to do is believe you are full and well fed.
And if you feel hungry, it's just because you don't believe enough.

But at least you won.

I can’t wait to read the “thoughts” of @peteblue and @Joey66 on Project Fear’s latest propaganda stunt.

I say.....Peter......Joe....... come and read what Sainsbury, ASDA et al think :)

At last the supply chain issue is front and centre stage. Unless you are involved in it, or unless it is broken, no one gives it a moments thought. It literally keeps the country moving and functioning, (and eating).

And there is hardly a business or household that to some extent, doesnt depend on it. Every day.

I am happy to bet a biscuit, that at some point tomorrow I will deliver a box of coffee, some pet food, or some trainers, and the customer will look at me like I am green, and tell me they only ordered it yesterday. As in today that it is. It is an astonishing work of art.

Asda is from the USA - Walmart Sainsbury's are waiting to take ASDA over - also about business leaving the U.K. A caller to LBC named loads who relocated away from the UK well before Brexit well before the referendum in fact - Cadburys, Lever brothers etc ironically how did they fund the move ......
The EU partly funded it with grants......like to hear the project fear mongers explain that one away:eek:

Well we were nattering about the supply chain mate.

Or rather the bosses of the major supermarkets were. And they are a bit concerned.
