Because it had been a while since she looked all powerful on the doorstep of number 10. Completely playing to the cameras.

As for her calling out Corbyn, the absolute state of her. Where has that invitation been for the last two years? She's spent the entire time bunkered in with her own delusions. Too little too late. I still hope/think this ends in a general election.
Can’t see a general election happening until Brexit is resolved now.

Is that a vessel of the new E.U. Navy, which obviously will not happen.........
"The European Council has confirmed the European Union Naval Force (EU NAVFOR) will move its headquarters following the UK’s decision to leave the EU.
The Operational Headquarters will be transferred from Northwood, London, to Rota in Spain, while the Maritime Security Centre Horn of Africa (MSCHOA) will move to Brest, France, as of 29 March 2019."

PS France has 4 aircraft carriers, Italy has 2, UK has 1 (nearly operational)

Grandiose use of "we"? Is no deal really what all 52% wanted? It is not what was campaigned for by most of the Brexiteer leadership.
Of course it’s not. We were supposed to be having our cake and eating it because the EU would be so desperate to give the U.K. everything we ever dreamed of.

Do we not need an election to try and get the arithmetic in Parliament to work for passing Brexit though?
It might’ve helped. But that’s what would’ve happened if May lost the vote tonight. She won so that’s that. They’re going to have to get creative.

May is trying to make it look like she and the Tories are the only ones sticking up for brexit and that they have been railroaded by parliament into not following it through. That way come next election they are hoping to mop up the leave voters frustrated with the other parties for putting the kibosh on it. I think this has been a key ploy by the strategists to help make this mess of a government electable come that time.

The only problem is so far Corbyn hasn't been playing her games as he doesn't want to upset the leavers either, however he looks like he will be railroaded himself to position the party to push for a 2nd referendum. Total shambles all based on party politics at the expense of any sound leadership on the grave matter in hand. Never more a plague on both your houses was more appropriate.

thought Corbyn made a bad move with saying he wouldn't talk unless she ruled out no brexit , made him look a bit petulant , why not just take up her offer then say we can't make any headway afterwards ?
how can you rule out no deal anyway?
if parliament agreed unanimously to back a deal in some unlikely scenario , then went to the EU who knocked it back , what would happen then ?
it would hand over power for the EU to say when we left and how we left if at all.
might suit rabbid remainers but not anybody else.
ps not advocating a no deal just asking the question .

France has 1 operational aircraft carrier, Italy has two small helicopter carriers........

Since when have you given a toss a toss about our "own problems". You still support a party which does not give a toss about the majority of the people in this country. Only their tax fiddling friends in big business.....hypocritical to say the least

You really do not know me....

Not accurate. The government can withdraw article 50 at any time, the ECJ ruled as such. No legislation needs to be passed for a revocation to take place. Furthermore, the government would not have to pass an act of parliament to do so. May has the power to withdraw article 50 without parliamentary support.

Obviously the political ramifications of revocation are different to the legal ones, but from a legal perspective, HM gov can choose to remain in the EU without referenda nor act of parliament.

Not so....
