I support the Democratic vote not squabbling MPs who disgraced themselves yesterday.......

That wasn’t the point I was making but fair enough. Joe You can sometimes deal with what somebody is saying though rather than just the point you want to make .

Democracy is electing mp’s though isn’t it ? To represent all their constituents and the country as a whole , nobody is saying you can’t have your Brexit , I don’t for the life of me understand how no deal has become the apparently only acceptable solution to so many Brexiteers. I’ve posted several times what leading leave campaigners were talking about before the vote and it wasn’t no deal so why is that all that’s a true Brexit now ? A no deal Brexit has the potential to be absolutely disastrous should the mp’s ignore that ?

Classic EU, keep voting until they get the result they want.....

Actually offering people the opportunity to continuously express their veiw is good after all it's the corner stone of any democracy, not sure I follow your logic, so would you rather they did not offer this method of allowing people to express themselves?

He said the drop in the value of the pound “killed” his business because the cost of paying subcontractors in places such as Romania and India has shot up, destroying his margin.

He also felt unwanted after the referendum and with a heavy heart he and his wife decided they didn’t “want to be trapped on an island that is descending into mindless tribalism” after 10 successful years here.

On the UK side, the government is collecting details for all current EU research projects involving UK-based participants. Recipients of Horizon 2020 funding are being asked to provide data to the public funding body, UK Research and Innovation.

But according to Skidmore, the government has not yet collected all the relevant data. “We do not know everyone who is participating in Horizon 2020,” he said.

That's some mighty fine preparation chaps. Mighty fine.

Please don’t attempt to drag me down to your level. I’m talking about political mayhem and resulting loss of business confidence....

“Political mayhem”?

Political mayhem is the mother of street violence.

So you need to be very careful with your choice of words, Pete.

Otherwise you and your fellow Brexit fanatics will fuel the BNP mob which abused that nice Tory lady MP outside parliament the other day.

And as for the current outbreak of commonsense resulting in a “loss of business confidence”.......hello?

Do you ever listen to the CBI or Business leaders of multi national companies employing hundreds of thousands of people in this country?

Their confidence has been at a low ebb ever since the Brexit madness was unleashed on us.

Of course. So can we have another one the following year, and the year after that.....

Our previous vote to take us in, which I voted for, took place in the 1970’s. We have now voted to Leave, so I don’t really expect another vote until about 2070.......

Deliver on the referendum vote? What on earth. The referendum was binary - leave or remain. May's deal would see us leaving, yet you don't support that. Are you an enemy of the people yourself?

We are not leaving. What do you think has been going on in parliament this week.....

I agree with you on UKIP , I think you’re other point is fascinating to be honest . Who would lead it ? I know @Joey66 is labour but happily supports JRM and the like but a lot wouldn’t and I’m sure a more left-leaning pro-Brexit supporter would push away many of the right wing supporters the cause has .

New political parties are hard to organise and despite the obvious significant public support for Brexit I’m unconvinced personally that’d translate to an across the board win . I’m not even convinced a straight fight between the current political parties divided on Brexit lines would lead to that kind of result . I’m not decrying the public interest or even that there is significant support for Brexit just about how that shows in an election .

I would think that a combination of Tories, UKIP and the sensible Labour MP’s could come together to promise to deliver Brexit and develop the opportunities it presents, to make it work. They may not gain a majority, but would spoil it for both Conservatives and Labour who wouldn’t either, and could then join a coalition government with the sole aim of making Brexit work.....
