It will happen that's the big problem of trying to overturn the democratic vote........
Alan Johnson, a Remainer and the former shadow chancellor, claimed two thirds of manufacturing jobs were dependent on Europe after looking at outdated analysis that had been conducted by the Centre of Economics and Business Research (CEBR).I don't recall the Alan Johnson comment, but the emergency budget statement was made should we leave with no deal the day after the vote. Isn't it a coincidence that those figures are pretty similar to those produced now to project how a no deal Brexit would impact the country? Hammond has said as much a few months ago. The forecasts are produced by the Office for Budget Responsibility, who are non-departmental and independent. Their very job is to provide budget forecasts. So that's not a lie, that's a projection made by a body the government created specifically to make such projections!
Regarding Cameron and 'World War 3', I'm afraid that is itself a lie propagated by Boris Johnson. This is the actual speech you refer to - https://www.gov.uk/government/speec...ks-strength-and-security-in-the-eu-9-may-2016. You'll notice no mention of world war 3.
"Can we be so sure that peace and stability on our continent are assured beyond any shadow of doubt? Is that a risk worth taking?
I would never be so rash as to make that assumption."
That is the exact quote that Boris lied about. At the time, I think it's a fair comment to make. Peace in Europe is always fragile, and many unsavoury sorts were banging the drum for Brexit. The vote to leave was quickly followed by Trump's election, and France were within a whisker of electing Le Pen. We've already seen far right leaders elected in Austria, Poland, Hungary and Czech, and so a political decision in Britain that was led in large part by those on the far right could scarcely be seen as supporting peace and goodwill in Europe, can it? And that's before we even get onto the Irish border.
Regarding universities, it's taken two years to get any kind of direction from the government, so how is it lying if they say they currently get a lot of funding, involvement in collaborative research and free movement of research talent, and all of those things are put at risk by leaving the EU? For two years all of those things were still at risk, and until the ink is dry on a settlement, I would say all three still are.
No they don't Joe ffs.
Really the labours six test are staying in the EU status quo ......They are trying to implement it. But it is not as easy as you were led to believe.
Not a humble gardener, Bruce horticulturalist IOH oh and I sent @ory a picture ask him about it as he talks a lot of it@Joey66 played with subtlety by Gary (very)Oldman

Genuine question now you’ve got the pub have you spoke to your wine merchant about the financial implications of a Brexit ? Either a negotiated one or no deal , be interested to know if you’re getting different figures than everyone else because at the minute the impact is potentially pretty big and a lot of the merchants have absorbed most the increases so far .
Which is what they are doing. As best they can. Democracy.
