Indeed. Why would they, May has agreed to their wishes. However if we seriously said we want no deal, negotiations would re-open up within ten minutes......

It can be renegotiated, any deal can be. The party that believes it has ‘won’, always says that’s it, it can’t be renegotiated. However, if we we tell them it’s a no deal, then heaven and earth will be moved and the deal will be renegotiated. It’s just the way negotiations go.........

It has nothing to do with how many people are on each side. Nor the approach. It has everything to do with the potential pain or commercial disadvantage for both. When reality changes and people appreciate and understand that it has really changed, then negotiations will open.......
