Because they don't conform to your view, Mr Bobby-brown-shoes admirer...

@Joey66

Serious point though fellas and it takes me back to something I’ve raised before , is it Brexit above everything . This blokes are apparently blocking an area close to a hospital wearing the high viz associated with the French riots that even batten told supporters not to wear recently , but put all that aside .

It’s another march/protest organised by somebody who is far right , check his Twitter , having had another recent Brexit march organised by violent convicted criminals who are far right . I don’t throw far right about and I’m deffo not a metropolitan snowflake , I argued I feel for you lot that Brexit is being hijacked by these thugs but really it’s not right is it ? You can’t support these whoppers , I know there is a line and you’ll distance yourself from this lot and their thuggery

In any movement there are extreme elements attracted to it, that cannot be denied.

In my youth, the hippie movement produced some superb music, but it also produced Manson and his Family.

Basically, you will never have a pure movement of any kind (no toilet jokes, please, Harry! :D), whatever its persuasion, so it is not surprising that a Brexit march attracts the wrong sort.

This is not a sign of the times, but as I mentioned about decades ago, something that will always happen. But every movement, popular or otherwise, is hijacked nowadays - I'm with you on that.

If our MPs supported democrocy........saying they would honour the vote of the referendum ........2 years , and we have stalemate......

Maybe that is more of a reflection of the reality of the situation they were tasked with dealing with, and/or a reflection on their collective ability.

And they are the folk you want to "make our own rules"

Taking half a sentence and replying to it out of context.

C'mon, roydo, you're better than that...

Out of context? I was agreeing with you. Like you said, populist movements can and have attract extremists. So its no surprise the far right feel enabled to jump on the Brexit one.

..I think it’s more a reflection of how May has facilitated the negotiations. A complete lack of diplomacy when a more inclusive diplomat could’ve made this work. She has pandered to ERG rather than bringing representatives of the parties together from the outset.

People say how amazing and stoic May has been but I think she’s been ignorant and arrogant. This needed to be led by the right person at the right time, unfortunately May is the wrong person. There is a cross-party majority for a certain type of deal that should’ve been the aim.
