And yet people expect Boris the clown to start doing it all when its not even his job.

Of course it is. He made up all sorts of lies to convince/brainwash people to vote, and is now admitting that he had absolutely no idea if any of what he pledged could ever be carried out. Instead, he's saying that despite the government saying this is utter madness to leave the EU, it's now their job to carry out the divorce that was conjured on the back of a fag packet in Farage's local.

I have come up with a cunning plan for the Remainers.

The Lib Dems have always been the most EU friendly of the main political parties. They are very likely to make rejoining the EU one of their key manifesto promises and/or calling a second referendum. If the remain camp can force an early general election, everyone that wanted IN should desert their traditional party and vote Lib Dem.

Almost 49% or 16m of the votes were for remain from a 72% turnout. Assuming the next GE has a larger than normal 55% turnout (25mn), the Lib Dems would only need around 9mn votes (in concentrated areas, not evenly spread) to form a govt.

Theybyhen have a mandate to call the whole thing off. Simple.

So not only do they not appear to have a plan, they're in no position to act out one even if they had one, yet people have felt sufficiently emboldened to make the biggest decision in a generation to support these people?

There supporting the idea rather than the people promoting it surely?

It was the current government who offered the referendum - with two options - one (remain) supported by the government and one (leave) that was not. Somebody had to push the "Leave" campaign and it wouldn't be the government. So the government should have had plans in place for both scenarios. What would they do? The "Leave" vote wins and the government have no plan and no clue what to do? Oh...wait....

To cut a long story short, they offered a referendum....lost....and ran for the hills. Way to run a country.

Hitler would have voted leave if he was alive. Make of that what you will.

Hitler is alive and kicking mate.

Collectively, we have all been a bit daft havnt we?

Not asked the sort of questions that are now being asked. Not thinking it through.

On both sides. But as it was our debut in this sort of stuff, pretty much, cant we just have another match?

I honestly didnt read a thing till after the vote.

:D

But on reflection, knowing what I know at this point in time, I would probably have voted leave.
