Andrea Ledsom at 10-1 are great odds. I'll be having a few quid on her i think. Everytime i have heard her speak she comes across really well and personable. I voted remain but listening to her views on Brexit she actually spoke eloquently and gave detailed reasons and plans as to why Brexit was best for the UK and not just the usual fluff that Johnson/Farage and others gave.

edit - wrong thread

Of course we are. But outside the EU we have lost, or will do if all this actually happens, the single biggest reason why other countries invest their money into the UK.

Y' know, Nissan, Tata, Honda, folk like that.

Could you explain for the thick people please?

You can also 'take back control' of your diet by only eating what you grow yourself in your garden. Sure, the quality of food might be a bit less but at least you won't have those fascist food and supermarket companies getting their fingers in what you eat.

Really do you think our country is not good enough to trade with world? I wanted to state but we are strong enough either way..
Of course it is good enough, but negotiating trade deals on your own leaves you in a much weaker position than as part of a trade bloc with a population of 500 million. Britain will still trade, just on worse terms.

Scotland voted overwhelmingly for a nationalist party in the last GE, and overwhelmingly to stay in the EU. They have been forced to leave the EU and clearly that gives a mandate to the SNP to call for another independence referendum.

Again, though, you seem to ignore the blindingly obvious, like when you said immigration wasn't a significant factor in Brexit.

Read my post properly. You are selective in what you accuse me of. The refuge of the defeated...

I think what swung the vote was the old labour voters in working class towns not believing a word people like Sadiq Khan says, EG a phrase he use'd was 'controlling borders was politics of hate', I heard a radio phone in after that and people was fed up, Remain camp (Who i supported) tried to be little people and scare people they failed to put a very positive message out and thought things like Blair and Cameron wanting to remain would sway voters.

Basically out of touch labour and torys MPs let the side down as they could not address the concerns of normal working class.

Also, none of this is whinging. It's sensible discussion based on what could have happened and what could happen.

I still haven't had a decent reply from you when I asked for a law the EU have 'forced' onto us which you disagree with so much. No light bulbs this time, please.

TTIP is one that is presently in motion, for example...

Go aske the deep sea fishermen about the unfair constraints that have been placed upon them over the years, with no defence from the Government of the day in the UK...
