No, I'm saying that £318bn worth of goods cannot be easily replaced. People buy BMW's because they like them, similarly with French wine, Irish butter, Spanish fruit etc. If chlorinated chicken is your bag then you've hit the jackpot.

I Agree and it can't easily be replaced by the EU. So the person who called us 'insignificant' is utterly wrong

I believe heard the same report as is mentioned below , the one i heard was in radio 5 . Seems appropriate to post

Not to decry the wartime leadership of Churchill before anyone jumps on the post , I’m looking at you @Joey66 , but provides an interesting context to your post .
i might be in a minority here but outside of the war , i really cant stand Churchill and cant see anything that would help do anything to help right now, unless he could send gunboats to gibraltar instead of liverpool

Churchill was a great war time leader. But it's important to remember that at the end of the war the British electorate got rid of him immediately

So the best outcome here for the UK is May gets the boot, a new leader is elected, who withdraws article 50, then reinstates it and there are another two years of uncertainty.

Whos in for the long haul lads.

We will not be in a trading bloc after Brexit. Do you think that pulling out of the EU will benefit us economically? Compared to the US, EU, and Chinese trading blocs we are comparatively insignificant. For example, Trump will wipe the floor with us in trade negotiations. We already know this.

neither would escape it in reality who would be worse off really isn't the point, we haven't used are strength in certain areas like the derivatives market in London for instance to are advantage in these negations .
We don't have to harm each other with a little will on both sides , it isn't a kick in the balls contest to see who is last man standing, unfortunately we have a gang of political pygmies doing a deal or not as the case may be.

An issue with this is that other countries want a piece of that, so you're negotiating position would be quite difficult. E.g; the Netherlands recently lured a branch (derivates in Euros) of CME to Amsterdam. And after Brexit; the AFM says another 150 companies will make the leap. And then you have the E.U. that is developing things like Emir II etc ... Services are difficult to negotiate. In any event Brexit is already reforming European financial landscape.

You voted to leave, and her deal would see Britain leave. I don't believe there was an option on the form for how you wanted to leave, so she has fulfilled the wishes of the 17 million or however many people that voted for this.
Her deal is rubbish hence she is trying to get the deal changed from being rule takers for ever in the Irish backstop deal on exit even if she survives the problem will not go away in the HOC!

No. That's just another line you have made up to suit your non partial agenda

Just in case you forgot

try coming to Burnley or nelson. How do you think the older generation enjoy having to walk through a large group of polish lads getting pissed outside a shop just to get a pint of milk?

Or are you going to call me a racist?
