So what now?

She goes away and renegotiates or tries to get anything better out of the EU despite the fact they don't need to and probably tell her to do one. She won't get a better deal, that's the deal she got.

So what if she comes back , sticks it to parliment a second time and fails? Or is in a similar position? Does she pull the vote then as well and keep going?

If she doesn't win the vote when she actually holds it then that could be 6 more weeks wasted.

What amazes me is that mps and government would allow her to do that. Better yet, the country will allow her to do that considering the ramifications of the deal (or none). An absolute joke that she does a 180 simply because she know she will lose and everyone will carry on as normal without anything changing whilst she wastes yet more time.

And the worst of it is that if they bribe enough people to win the vote in the meantime, not only do we leave the EU on a bad deal simply because of poor negotiating , but do so in a manner that not even the government want it!

That is surely the worst possible scenario?

What I find frustrating is the reluctance of both labour and the tories in giving us a second vote. A lot has come to light since 2016 so it makes perfect rational sense to have one. It's democracy in action. What's there to be afraid of?

So that is pretty damning to the whole thing which makes delaying it a waste of time for the country.

Add into that it makes this country look weak for the fact our leader walked away with a deal a week ago and without even presenting it is crawling back begging for better terms.

The whole thing is making a mockery of the country , how weak and pathetic do we look? We voted to leave the EU and now here is our leader begging at their door to give her something to take back to appease them.

Absolutely pathetic

For us and the EU. Hence why I think they will do something on the backdrop.
I don't think they care mate in all honesty. Once we leave then those issues are nothing to do with them in a general sense.

You have to remember this deal is keeping us in the EU but without actually being a member. So it gives us concessions but it's akin to being ruled by them but not invited to discuss it.

And they still get our money!

Tories won't because it will destroy their party. It would be a gamble by Labour that they don't lose a huge amount of votes by not respecting the first vote.

Why would they, though? They know as well as she does that the Commons has a majority of MPs who would vote remain. They know the no-deal/ERG/DUP/Lexit at any cost types comprise about 100 MPs.

Because they dont want a No Deal neither. You know all them "chaos at the ports" and knackered supply lines stuff that gets lobbed at us? It will apply to them as well.

If they can give May a kernal that will get the deal through the HOC, in other words some way we can leave the backstop, game is back on.
